Ms Kathy Was Great She Saved Me And My Girlfriend Apartment After The Office Tired To Kick Us Out

I was going to be evicted a week before Christmas, but Kathy Parks was able to give me enough time to pay some of my past due rent. Without her help I would be packing boxes right now! I can't thank her enough for her assistance in this matter. I will get a good night's sleep tonight.

Update...I am now in the next stage of the process. After two months, I am still able to stay in my apartment. Kathy has been extremely helpful in guiding me through this difficult time. Without her help, I am not sure where I would be living!

This company was the best! After having our third child and unable to help my husband with the bills for a bit we were facing eviction. Their conversation was inundated with false promises, follow their instructions however the eviction went through even after an appeal was filed and the landlord took our rent that month as well these people masquerade as be knowledgeable however they are far from it stay away do not spend your money, contact a real attorney, a good one is Mr Saunders in Houston

A rip off! A waste of time and money! They basically charge you to fill out a form that you can do yourself! Spoke to Lee at one point and his response was "You just need to get it together! Call me when you get something in mail!" then hung up on me! They even stop answering the phone once they get money out of you!

Very professional, if a little disorganized. Overall I had a pleasant experience, even if I didn't end up going with them. Lee was very informative and worked with me quite well. I'd recommend them to anyone having eviction troubles - they know their stuff.

Total waste of 299.00. First of all they are not lawyers so they cant really do anything to help you. Lee will tell you to make a 299.00 deposit into their Chase Bank account. 1st red flag. If you are being evicted and have the money to move just move! Dont waste money paying them when they will do nothing to help you. Here is how it works, your apt will file eviction you will go to court no matter what you say the judge will rule against you and you will have to move. There is nothing you can say in that court room to sway them. You just have to move period. Nobody from that company will be in court with you by the way. Then, if you want to fight it you will need to fill out the paper work and pay 1 months rent into the courts registry. Ask the court or google the form fill it out take to the court, you dont need to pay 299 to have someone else do that. But if you have money to waste go right ahead. Keep in mind that if you do this you will owe more money in the end because you will have to pay your apt lawyers fees. Its in your lease agreement folks. So on top of the wasted 299 you will owe back rent late fess plus their lawyers fees. Their lawyer told me in court 1200 is what i have to pay in lawyers fees. Then you will have a court date at another court. All this is doing is buying you more time. You dont need this company to do that. They will not come to court with you and may or may not return your calls after you have made the 299.. deposit into their Chase account. Im writing this review to warn others like myself who got scammed by this company. Do your own homework before you waste your money on any company who claims they can help you fight an eviction. If you really have they money just hire LAWYER.. This company is a wait of money dont do it! Iv contacted the BBB Buyer be ware...

I was afraid that I got scammed, but low and behold I was very wrong. This process isn't what people think it is, so my advice to future people is don't let the manager or landlord bully you.... just give these people a chance. I will keep you updated on the progress!

UPDATE: So I don't know why people gave Eviction Shield a bad rap, because my appeal has been filed and accepted. Kathy has been an absolute lifesaver in this matter, and I am very happy with the results so far.... I will continue to update on the progress! Thank you Eviction Shield.

I paid Terry on June 10th a month before my court date I called and I paid the same day no process was given I was told to wait until he calls me and don’t worry. I didn’t here anything until I requested a refund after no communication at all, all the phone numbers given to me in the first place were disconnected or changed from the website , I finally reached Terry a week before my court date he urged me not to go. So I listened that was 7/2 no communication after that since . On my other review you can see they responded saying my case hadn’t come up yet here’s my update

So fast forward to today I have called Terry 16 times since Monday when he was supposed to appeal my case ,I called the courts myself to find nothing was filed and a pregnant me and my 2 children will be on the street, I trusted Terry and if you can see the response from eviction shield under my first post they knew my case was coming,and they had the nerve to tell me to retract my my review NEVER not only do I stick by my original statement I would like a full refund of the $300 I paid for the work they never did . I have already reported to the bbb and have gotten a lawyer to insure the doesn’t happen to anyone else . It would be in you best interest to reach me before The authorities reach you

They took my money and disappeared no more communication after payment I paid them then asked how the process goes they laughed and told me to wait on the this was June 10th . Heard nothing since. DONT DO IT THERE ARE OTHER HONEST CHOICES OUT THERE.

Ok..I was in need of services due to my situation. I called talked to someone at first but then after payment was made took a long while to hear from anyone. Was scared out of my mind since the deadline was approaching. The day of the filing I got a text which was way to late to be contacting anyone due to the fact that time was of the essence. Paid 250.00 for the service but who actually did the process and work for the paper work??? So really I would appreciate a refund since who was supposed to do it actually DID NOT! In the future I would try to be more responsive since the people who call are desperate..And in need of help so I will wait for a response. You would also feel the same way if you paid someone to do something but they really dod not..Think people before u go there. Just sayin'

I contacted this company and spoke to Ron. He sent me an invoice for 125.00 for paperwork and e-filing, which I paid a full 4 days before my court date. I was told I didn't need to go to court. I then waited 3 days after court and had not heard from them so I emailed and texted several times with no response. I finally got ahold of someone on Saturday, 4 days after court, I was told they would contact me Sunday. I only had 6 days after the court date to file my appeal. They finally emailed me Monday at 1 PM, which was the LAST day, and told me I had to go file the paperwork MYSELF because Midland didn't support e-filing. I'm the caretaker for my grandma who's 86 and had 3 strokes and Alzheimer's so I can't leave her without notice to find a caregiver and she can't travel. There was no way I could get there to do it that day and not to mention, I paid for e-filing. So they waited until the last possible day to file and then wanted me to do what I paid them for. I asked for my money back but of course never heard anything else. Absolutely a waste of time and money I could use since I'm now having to move in a much shorter time frame. Just really unimpressed and unprofessional behavior.

As for the response from the owner, plenty of time to get someone to drop it off for me? You Emailed me in the middle of the last day. I don't have anyone. It's just me and my grandma and my boys who aren't old enough to drive or stay with their grandma. I came to you almost 2 weeks before my court date and you messaged me the last day I had to file and then you wanted me to do what I paid YOU for. No excuses whatsoever for such unprofessional behavior!

At first they were great they answered calls and talked me through the process. Now I’m waiting on someone to call me back and no one will. I have three small children and I’m needing help, yet no one wants to answer or call me back. I have end of business hours to get this paperwork filed yet no one wants to answer or call me back. I was originally told I’d be called Friday, that didn’t happen. Then I was told I’d be called Saturday, still no call. I’ve called the three numbers I have, and they’re all going to voicemail. Now it looks like my kids and I are going to be homeless.

Update: 6/2/19:

Thankful for Mark who took the time (even though he is no longer affiliated with Eviction Shield) to fill the paperwork out for me and help me through this. He saved us even though he didn’t have to.

I initially thought they were awesome. Marcus answered my call on a Saturday. He explained that process . Even provided a cell number to text and send information to .

My biggest problem following that has been communication and follow thru . No one ever answers. I was told i would be contacted and I’ve not been . And now I have a 24 hour vacate notice and though options have been discussed . I’ve spent the entire day calling with no answer after Ron told me to call back. Multiple times . This is just a nightmare .

I'm not sure how I feel about Eviction Shield. They promised to represent me at court but I just received a letter stating that I didn't have legal representation (judgment for the plaintiff)! I was supposed to receive the court documents from Marcus yesterday (not provided). He contacted me and stated that he left work early but assured me that I'd have everything today. As of today.....I've officially snapped! He's not responding to me at this time.

UPDATE (5/18/2019):
Marcus contacted me and explained the document I received. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress of my situation. Thanks to ALL the people that reached out to me via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Final Update (5/20/2019):
This Company is AMAZING! Everything that Marcus told me was factual. He filed an appeal, it was accepted (the court called me today) and my case was moved to another jurisdiction (just like he said)! I am extremely pleased with this company!

Very rude the man didn't even want to hear what I had to say then hung completely up in my ear. When I tried to call back he then sent me to voicemail. I wish I could give negative stars I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Lee helped us every step of the way, explaining the process as we went. This service bought us the valuable time we needed to find a new place and move our belongings without any nasty problems with the landlord. Would recommend to anyone who might be facing a similar situation!

I felt so slighted and disregarded by this company. Lee told me he was unsure of a question that was posed and he would call me back. He didn’t call back. I called back and he was gone. A lady named Cathy told me she could help because she has so much experience. She basically told me I was SOL then blew me off without any sort of answer. This is just a bad way of treating someone in a bad position.
