Terrible law firm. No interest in helping people only interested in money. I offered to pay this law firm 2000 dollars to simply file a complaint for me in small claims court. You don't even need an attorney to help with filing a case in small claims court, but I live out of state and hiring an attorney to file for me seemed easier than buying a plane ticket and doing it myself. This $300 an hour lawyer/law firm refused to take a $2000 payment/retainer to drive to the courthouse and file a complaint with small claims court. People like this is why lawyers have such an awful reputation. They don't want to help anyone all they care about is money. My case had to do with a signed contract and was an easy slam dunk case. There is nothing special about these guys and if you ever need help I would recommend going anywhere else. Give your money to a law firm that actually cares about people and is dedicated to helping. Don't support a firm that only takes on cases for financial gain. There are soo many lawyers that you can truly find law firms that care about helping people and want to support the little guy...

On behalf the The Filling Station Church of Needville, TX, I would like to thank David Showalter, and his staff, for the excellent job that they did in representing our church in the Eminent Domain case that we have been involved in with the state. We could not have asked for better legal representation and highly recommend David Showalter and his team for all legal needs.
Our Pastor, Don Brdecka, has also used David Showalter Law Firm with his personal legal matters and also highly recommend their services.

Learn from my mistake. Dale Gibson is not an attorney you want to hire who will look out for your best interest. He ignored my emails for 19 days, phone calls for 14 days. Not only did he waste a large retainer of which $2900.00 is unaccounted for, but he wasted six months of my time. Then he charged me $75.00 to walk in his office and ask " Did you get my email stating your'e fired"? Had to call three times to pick up my file. In addition, he told me the wrong time to appear before the judge when I had to go to court to get the judges signature to terminate him. Thirty minutes after the judge signed the paperwork and i did not get the opportunity to tell the judge why I fired him.
David Showalter represented our church in an eminent domain case with TXDot and we were very pleased with the outcome. His experience in eminent domain caused to us to get a much bigger settlement than we would have on our own. He only gets paid if he is able to obtain a bigger settlement than TxDot's first offer to the landowner, so he earns his fee and gets you a larger settlement than you would have gotten on your own.

My husband and I procrastinated updating and addressing our legal affairs for many years and finally realized it was time to put things in order - and quickly. Our situation is somewhat complicated, and Mr. Dale Gibson came HIGHLY recommended; he did not disappoint. Mr. Gibson returned my call within the hour, and made availability to meet with us that afternoon, after-hours, in order to meet our legal needs. Mr. Gibson was STRAIGHT FORWARD and extremely HONEST in making certain we understood our total legal fee obligation before we personally met, and what was included in that cost. Throughout our meeting, Mr. Gibson went above and beyond, was EXTREMELY patient with us, spent a significant amount of time answering our direct questions, our “what-if” scenarios, our “silly” questions - while also adding suggestions we had not previously considered. We immediately liked and trusted Mr. Gibson’s legal advise, as well as his down-to-earth personality. Not only has Mr. Gibson proven to be an EXTRAORDINARY attorney, he is truly interested in taking care of his clients with attention to every individual detail. We can rest easy knowing our affairs are now in order, and that if we - or any of our family, have future questions, Mr. Gibson will be available to discuss and clearly explain legalities involved.

I have worked at Showalter Law Firm for almost a year now. I love my job. I work with the best staff. We are a team and work towards one goal only and that is satisfying the client. David Showalter is the best to work for. He is honest and fair. He listens to our suggestions and holds regular staff meetings to discuss how we can improve and make things better for everyone. I am proud to be a part of such a dynamic firm and look forward to many more years serving not only the law firm but all of our clients as well.

My husband and I had our home refinanced through Showalter Law Firm and it was quick as there are many pages to sign. So we were in and out pretty quick. Highly recommend.

Very good law firm. Their whole team worked on our case and were very thorough throughout the process. They kept us informed regardless of activity with the case and helped us make decisions. I would highly recommend this firm.

I wouldn't use Dale Gibson to represent me in traffic court! This guy is a joke. Could care less about the clients welfare, only in it for the quick money. Trust me look elsewhere for an attorney with some morals and values.
