Terrible, worst lawyer ever

Not done with the case yet, watching this lawyer work is better than any court case movie. Honored to see her in action

As a male needing advice/help making decisions. She was no help and sounded like made her decision that I was in the wrong.

At a time when I was completely hopeless, drowning in panic, facing a custody case with an abusive partner, being let down by a system that will prosecute crime, but shows zero favor to victims in family court; she was the one attorney out of 15 I spoke with, who gave me sound, practical, uncanny advice. The 14 others wanted $3,000+ retainers to draw out a lengthy battle that would have cost my child and I's life, and would have trapped me. I have referred half a dozen others to her and will continue to do so-from afar- to anyone facing serious challenges within the Bexar County family court system.

Contrary to the last 2 reviews written I beg to differ with that which was said about Ms Winget-Hernandez. She has represented me for over 3 years with my child custody case. I wish no one ever go through with what I did as a dad in my custody case and I can say that I was headed in the wrong direction with a sense of hopelessness prior to meeting Ms. Winget-Hernandez. After meeting her there was an immediate sense of ease, a purpose understood and direction with results. Ms Winget-Hernandez has a no nonsense approach which for some may find it difficult to relate to her but I will say that that depiction in my view has in no way shape or form takes away her compassion and dedication to her job and for her clients with positive ending results. Maybe for some the depiction of being kind and caring gives a sense of entitlement or a desire to take advantage of ones goodness... For me, Ms. Winget-Hernandez has always and will always have the clients best interest at heart and she is not in the business of taking you down the wrong path and or sharing misinformation with you. I highly recommend Ms. Laura Winget-Hernandez to represent you in the court of law in particular with a child custody case. Her approach is effective, efficient and she gets the job done!

She says she's for the child but she's not. She's a list. She says she's a Christian but seems more like Satan himself. She caused more damage for me than anybody could ever repair. She's a awful person so please, think twice before using this witch.

Would not recommend to anyone who is in the best interest of the child's safety, Laura works with the biological parents more so than the caregiver of the child, even if the biological parents are on drugs and are not meeting cps requirements , she lacks the capability to see past the manipulation of the parents, will drop case and does not advise that she's done so,did not respond, not even to the caseworker. Seems as if she is unaware and not experienced of the proper documentation and process needed to keep the child safe.
