I was really excited to see the reviews and possibly work with this attorney however I was never able to make it past the front office help. The girl that answered the phone seemed very nice at first but couldn't answer any of my questions ( VERY basic questions) she kept putting me on hold then she transferred me over to Leslie she was extremely insensitive to the very unique case of a minor which requires court approval for even a consultation fee. She told me that the attorney doesnt do free consults (not what I was asking for) I had two questions to ask the attorney prior to paying the $300 consult fee and then a retainer fee and years of work for this firm. I could've easily paid it myself but I felt the receptionist and paralegal were irritated with my questions and didn't want to be bothered with a new client. I wish I could have spoken to the attorney myself to clarify she was familiar with a case like this all I wanted was clarity unfortunately it wasn't given.

My husband and I feel truly blessed that we were referred to Anne Marie Gilden in order to have guardianship of my mom. She was always there for me whenever I had questions or concerns. Her paralegal Leslie along with her legal assistant Jillian worked tirelessly and professionally on my case. Most of all they treated us like family! Let me first start by saying that I write very few reviews good or bad unless I am passionate about something. My experience with Ms. Gilden was eye opening to say the least. I never understood the true meaning of fleecing until I met her. You will find that she is full of energy and experienced. However, I feel that she has been doing this for so long she believes she knows your outcome already and only gives so much effort.
I don't think I ever got out a sentence before she interrupted me, leaving me with an empty feeling instead of a warm fuzzy feeling. Eventually I had to remove her from my case and am now left with giant mess and thousands of dollars lighter. I just received an electronic copy of her files and now I see it all. There are tons of items that she has no record of, she fluffed up the file with a bunch of non-pertain ant information.Please choose your lawyer carefully, I trusted her and her experience. Now I am in a battle with the system, a giant mess to clean up and facing the loss of my son. I understand that she is not god and there were risks involved but the outcome could have been less severe.
I am certain that she will come up with some sort of clever rebuttal to my negative feedback because that is what she does, after all she is a lawyer so don't be fooled.

I am currently a Paralegal Student at Daytona State College and was given an assignment to sit down with an attorney and ask them questions about their law firm and how using a Paralegal has helped them. I called around to local attorney's for 2 1/2 hours before I was finally able to locate Mrs. Gilden whom didn't hesitate one bit to allow me to come in and speak with her. She was able to schedule an appointment that not only fit her schedule but she also took my schedule into consideration which meant a lot. Her law firm is very nice, her Paralegal Leslie was very kind and inviting upon my arrival. Mrs. Gilden did a phenomenal job at answering all the questions I had and explaining everything in layman's terms so I could complete my assignment. I was able to gain knowledge and understanding of how a law firm works as well as certain laws while I was there which will be helpful in my future career!
