I feel that review writing is important for only two reasons; to warn consumers to avoid a certain product or service provider that are below standard, or to provide accolades as a result of exceptional service or satisfaction that goes way beyond the average.  I am honored to say that the Law Offices of Darrin T. Mish, to include his staff,  fit into the later of the two.

  So, without going into finite detail, the IRS contacted me with their belief that an amount was owed from me for improperly filing a recent tax return.  My first reaction, like most, was "Damn it!  What the hell are they talking about, and where did I go wrong?
Upon speaking to Mr. Darrin Mish, he assured me that the notice I received was most definitely a pre-formatted, computer generated letter that is automatically addressed and sent to individuals that fit a certain criteria.  With the exception of my name, personal identification numbers, address, and specific amount owed, all of the letters are the same, if not very similar.  Darrin emphasized that following proper procedures, time was on our side, penalties would cease, and the accusations would be resolved on an individual basis.

While I do believe most mega-organizations follow the "modus operandi" of bullying clients, or intimidating them with legal formatted notices that will cause the client to react under stress, I signed all of the necessary documents that provided Darrin to act on my behalf, and left him alone to do what he does best.  It was only after I agreed to provide Darrin with full authority and control of my finances did I receive a HUGE surprise of his generosity and the extent of his patriotism.  Because I am a career military officer with multiple deployments that extend further in years than most soldiers current ages, Darrin felt compelled to manage and execute my case on a "Pro-Bono basis".  I was speechless, and proud to accept his terms regardless of the outcome.

During the past four months, I continued to read success stories, reviews, and results from Darrin and his clients against the IRS. When I refer to success, I'm not quantifying it at 50% on the dollar either. I'm talking about below 20% settlement of what was proven to be owed! At the end of the fourteenth week, on Saturday's mail delivery, I received a letter from the IRS. While trying to maintain an optimistic attitude, I expected it to be a notification that without further investigation, the IRS would be willing to settle for a specified amount below 20% of what was originally demanded. It was to my great surprise, and pleasure that my case was ruled in my favor, there was no further debt to be paid....$ZERO!!!, and the case was closed!

I could not wait until Monday to communicate this information to Darrin, and found a way to message him privately on the social network! I was ecstatic, and felt no other way to reciprocate my thankfulness more than to at least spread the good news through reviews.
