I had just moved back to Florida from Washington state in July 2017. I was unfortunately involved in a rear-end collision on US19 N. in September during hurricane Irma evacuation. This is an amazing law group. I was in a serious car accident on May 5 2019. The person involved hit me and pancaked me between their car and another gentlemen. Since this state is a "No fault" state the guilty party didn't carry any PIP insurance for my medical. It's okay though because I carried my own, I was more concerned that her insurance company didn't bother to contact me until I ask for help from Stathopoulos Law Group. They helped me get a rental, explained to me what her insurance was required to do for me and what they were suppose to pay for while I had the rental, I found out they were liable for my cars damages, so they paid the towing company and gave me a payment for totaled my car. Wendy is amazing too. Even though I didn't get a settlement, she was still willing to help me through this whole process. For me this is a big deal! Most Law firms don't have integrity about helping you once you can't pay them their portion. Without a doubt this is my go to from now on. I truly appreciate Stathopoulos Law Group. The Stathopoulos Law Group is an excellent law firm. Tom Stathopoulos is a well-experienced attorney who is legally knowledgeable and analytically skilled, while remaining quite personable and charming. First let me start out by saying that Toms office staff and Tom himself are very compassionate and caring.
My wife had a terrible vehicular accident that left her disfigured and disabled .
When the accident occurred I could not fathom what could have caused it and sought legal advise, I spoke with Tom and his staff who extrapolated the information needed to proceed with dealing with the Insurance giant who showed absolutely no empathy or ethics.
Tom and his staff reviewed the policy and demanded a settlement but the insurance giant denied the claim.
Tom filed suit on our behalf .
We had a policy that stated it would cover the type of loss we were claiming but we were unaware that the type of loss was a covered loss prior to hiring Tom because the Insurance Giant never explained our policy
Tom explained our coverage clearly to us.
Toms next step was to go to trial but due to the extreme emotional trauma of reliving the accident my wife and I decided not to go to trial but go to mediation.
Our decision was based on the fact that no amount of money could bring our lives back to normal and rather than go to trial to try to obtain more money ( Which I know that Tom would have won) we opted to mediate instead.
Toms excellent negotiation skills at the near day long mediation brought us a $650,000.00 settlement.
There are a lot of commercials with lawyers claiming to have tenacity and that they are for the people.
But with them you would just be a number and docket, Tom personally handled our case and kept us informed along the lengthy process.
Tom is a family oriented God fearing person but don't let that fool you .
I would recommend Tom and his staff and would absolutely use him again if needed.
