Do not hire this firm if you want your case completed quickly. We hired them for a child support case, there was very little communication from them at first. The only way we got updates was to send them an email, and we would get a response back. Usually something like, "we are working on the case." However, after going through 3 attorneys and nothing being filed for the case, we were fed up. It was at that point I wrote an email to Mr. Marks, and finally the case magically seemed to move forward. In the end the case for a termination of child support took almost a full year. Not only that but we clearly informed the firm we lived in another country (it was even listed on our emailed invoice). However, they set up a hearing that we needed to attend, but obviously couldn't, so it was cancelled. The only good thing about this whole process was the discount on the fees in the end, but not nearly enough was knocked off for a very slow job of handling a fairly simple case. I will never use them again, and never refer them to anyone who I like.

Adam Itzkowitz successfully defended our case. He was upfront regarding the fees and kept us informed of the court's actions. We would definitely ask for his help again if needed (hopefully, we won't ever have too.)

For the first time in my life, I was in trouble with the law. Sure I’ve received moving violations, but never anything like this, a TPD officer was reading orders of which I must follow for the next seven days, and perhaps two years, or be arrested with zero questions asked, all I could think about was how I needed a strong attorney. I had briefly spoken by phone/email to four attorneys prior to calling Todd, they all said the same thing: oh yeah, we will win. Go ahead shoot your retainer over. I felt as though they were ‘yes people’ and once in court, they’d drop the ball. When Todd answered (on a Saturday morning) he introduced himself and talked about his firm, we briefly spoke about my case and he advised how we’d go forward should I choose his team. Todd laid out the hard truths in regards to law and my case, this was my first time hearing that I may not win, thus confirming my original thought: I need a strong attorney.

Due to Todd’s honesty, I went to Westchase Law’s downtown office Monday morning and reviewed the case with Kylie Caporuscio, Esq. As Kylie asked questions, I rambled and rambled, I had so many facts to share but they were all coming out at random times. I remember thinking to myself, she thinks I’m crazy. I’m not one to feel anxiety, but that’s all I had felt for the prior five days. Kylie walked me out and said ‘try not to worry so much about this, we will take care of it,’ that’s the moment my body slowed back to normal and I realized that I was no longer fighting alone.

At the hearing I was lucky enough to watch Todd as a negotiator, mediator and my defense attorney all prior to stepping foot into the courtroom. At one point Todd told me it’s time to swallow my pride; He was right, and I needed to hear it as I was arguing over something petty and opposing party already had law on their side. I’m happy to state that Todd had my case completely dismissed and we only had to present our agreement to the Court.

Certain laws handicap certain individuals, I’m thankful I hired Todd and his Westchase Law team as they not only dismissed the false allegations, but they also listened to my requests, educated me on the entire process and helped me emotionally through it all.

Kelly Albanese with West Chase Law is handling my family law case. She is amazing! She was very prepared for my case, and kicked butt in the court room! She worked very quickly on getting a court date, and kept me up to date with everything that was happening. Thanks Kelly!

Mr. Marks and Ms. Albanese consulted with me and then handled all the paperwork for a situation with my insurance company. I found them to be courteous, empathetic, and honest. It was a huge relief to have them deal with everything, and I'm happy to say it was all resolved within a matter of weeks. My daughter referred me to Westchase Law, and now I'll refer others there.

Steer clear. Went through a divorce, was handed off to three different associates because they kept leaving the firm. Each time I had to explain the situation to my new attorney and they billed me for each call or email. Wish I could leave 0 stars.

I've found Todd Marks and Westchase law to always go WAY above what I was expecting.
