Terrible lawyer. Too busy to be available at all, even if you hired her.

Will take your money and screw you in the end in court, poor excuse for an attorney, too lazy to see if client is even at court. You'd be better off with ticket clinic or any other law office

I know exactly who this man is that is complaining about Ms. Cheatwood and being interested in nothing but money. First of all, I am the one who requested that he go to see Ms. Cheatwood. This man represented himself and actually contacted me to prepare some pro se paperwork. I met with him on a Sunday for one and one half hours. I was never compensated for a thing that I did for him. He had his final hearing coming up and was worried about going into a courtroom without an attorney. He called me after "stiffing" me for over three - four months and I was still nice enough to refer him to Ms. Cheatwood. I explained that he would have to pay her something, in that she was a lawyer and I am not. He said he understood. He came into the office and met with Ms. Cheatwood, spoke to her several times over the phone and went to Court with Gail by his side the very following morning. Gail had asked for the amount of $200.00 to go to court with this man at which time he agreed. This man has failed and refused to pay Ms. Cheatwood one red penny and for some strange reason, he does not seem to understand that he does not work for free, why should she? This man knew well in advance that he was to pay for legal services before he came in and still as of this date, has not. I cannot believe that he has the "guts" to put something like this on a review. I would like to really understand why this man thinks that he should receive legal advise and time and work for free. And you call yourself a religious man? Really. Actually what you should do is pay Ms. Cheatwood her money and apologize for being such a "story teller". But that is okay, we both know you won't. Shame on you. You should be ashamed.

The epitome of non professional service. Only cares about money. Requested her service for a DOM. Did not return calls, not prepared for hearing-requesting evidence for the hearing minutes before beginning. No review of the hearing documents, She agrees with the state on EVERYTHING. Also more focused on friendships with judges than defending clients. The assistant gives false information and lies on call per instruction from her boss the lawyer. Do not ruin your life by wasting anytime being advised by anyone in her office!!!

She's not a good lawyer,shes a deal maker with the state,she collected money for my witness to be called and she never paid the sheriff to go out and get my witness,she did nothing but lied and scared me into taking a Deal when I knew I wasn't wrong.STAY AWAY FROM HER

Horrible Attorney, doesn't get the job done. Always giving you the run around and nothing gets taking care of. What a waste of time and disappointment. I don't recommend this Attorney to anyone.
