The Public Defenders office is worthless, they do not try to help you at all, they just ask the state attorney what they want to do and tell you what the state attorney wants. They will not fight for you. What do you expect for free. You need to hire your own attorney or work on a case your self. Aside from that, good luck getting ahold of any of them, as they will not return your call or send you mail that you request.
