Robert followed up with us after the review and said he would “see what he could do”... OVER A WEEK LATER, still no follow up and they are still emailing us for a final payment on services that were NEVER given to us. What is most upsetting is Robert was our assigned lawyer and couldn’t make the court day because of a vacation he had planned/scheduled so it was RESCHEDULED and WE WERE CHARGED for it and HE DID NOT EVEN SHOW UP FOR THE NEW COURT DATE. His assistance is rude and very unhelpful. Just awful...

True professionals delivered what they promised very happy with the choice

Way back in August of 2016, I started searching for a lawyer to handle my upcoming divorce. I knew that it was going to be a long battle, so I had to find someone that I could trust since I live in Tennessee and she was residing in Florida with the children. I found Kenny Leigh and Associates and was liking what I was seeing. I was hired a lawyer that I felt comfortable with handle my case. For whatever reason, he ended up no longer associated with the firm a couple of months later. I was then assigned Mr. Daniel Smith. We chatted on the phone about the case and I felt that he was a suitable replacement. As my temporary hearing was coming up to get the visitation and child support started, Mr. Smith wasn’t going to be able to be there due to another clients case. Mr. Vega filled in for him during that period and did a fine job getting it handled. So we jump into 2017. Mr. Smith was working his tail off to get this wrapped up. In June I had a conversation with Mr. Smith about her and I coming up with our own agreement and he gave me the info that I needed to hash it out with her about. We had everything agreed upon, but sadly opposing counsel shut down due to non payment from her. After some time, she realized that she had hired the wrong lawyer to properly put her interest first instead of his own pocket lining methods. She fired him and our agreement was back in play. After a couple of issues were hammered out on the agreement, the final date was set. Her and I had been at war prior to the agreement and while still having a battle or three, we became copacetic in the end. After a long back and forth battle, May 4 2018 was the day that I was divorced. I want to thank all of the people involved with my case at KL, and a huge shoutout to Mr. Smith for his hard work on getting this complicated situation over with. Divorce can and most likely will be an ugly process. I would highly recommend Mr. Smith and the team at Kenny Leigh to every guy just trying to be apart of their kids lives.

In and around September 2017, I hired Mr Smith Daniel, the worst lawyer I ever encountered. He was not listening to my demands, it felt like he was working for my wife. It felt he was colluding with the Opponent Council, very soft and weak lawyer when it comes to fighting for men’s rights. Mediation was a waste of 9 hours and waste of money, hope I get my refund. This case got drawn out into 2018. I was so disappointed in our he handled my case. He disappointed my little girls and myself. I would never recommend this firm to anyone when it comes to family law, he just wanted to make money and never come through with anything you asked of him. Very expensive but very poor result. Had to fired him.

Very helpful and quick to respond when ever I need any help. My lawyer Robert has done an amazing job on my case. He was able to get a last minute order signed so I could have my son for Christmas. Great staff that’s willing to work with you. Highly recommended

The entire process was drug out for 11 months. Some of which was the fault of my ex. Ended up costing me more money, but I was satisfied with end result.

I hired KL&A after hearing an add on the radio. I will tell you, I had reservations about the firm after my original lawyer was let go 2 days before my hearing but I went with my gut feeling and stayed with them. Dan Smith stepped in immediately and took my case over and listened to what my concerns were (both with taking over my case and with my case) gave me sound advice and I could not be happier with my outcome.

I was very pleased with my Tampa based attorney Daniel Smith. My custody case had a lot of unexpected twists and turns but Danny was confident we would prevail in the end, which we did. Yes, it was very expensive and took longer than I would have wished but when you are protecting your rights as a father, take nothing for granted and be sure you hire an attorney who specializes in protecting father's rights. The Florida legal system isn't really setup to benefit father's and you have to fight for everything. At the end of the day, can you put a price on access to your son or daughter? I think not. Hiring an attorney is not bargain and is not cheap. If you are looking for a cheap firm then I would look for a one man/woman show. However, I believe you get what you pay for and Kenny Leigh delivered.

When my case went to trial, it was obvious Danny was the superior attorney to the opposition. So much so that my case was won when he asked the judge for a directed verdict. That means, we won our case without having to lay out one minute of our defense. So at the end of the day, having an experienced/aggressive/knowledgeable attorney was the difference. I am glad I hired a firm that represents only men and makes it their business to defend the rights of fathers. I would highly recommend Danny personally and found the staff at the Tampa office friendly and helpful.

Was told in the beginning that this would go quickly and that the attorney I was getting would be aggressive. My case was drawn out and I was charge for weekly/monthly strategy meetings. Not one meeting was beneficial to my case and when I asked about what is talked about in the meeting I was sent a 2 sentance email. You will not be given case notes or any other information that the lawyer may obtain after your case. I requested this information several times and they threaten to withdrawal from my case saying "it was a conflict of interest". Horrible and pathetic law firm do not recommend at all. If there was a lemon law for lawyers these guys would be the reason. I was given thousands of dollars back because of there billing errors and failure to prove what they were trying to charging on my bill. Every bill required a phone call to them and countless people in order to get billing corrected. Complete waste of time and money. Now they are refusing to communicate at all. Everyone from the President to the revolving door of paralegals are uninformed and unprofessional when you begin to question the billing. My lawyer was based out of Tampa.

Worst experiance with a law fiem ever! The most enept, over charging and non producing firm. They will string you along and send you bogus "case reviews" that have no meaning to just keep charging you. Dont waist your time or money on something so important as a devorse.
