I hired Gary Williams last year for a high conflict divorce. He is an excellent attorney as well as his associate Steven Gregg. They are extremely knowledgeable and everyone in the courthouse knows and respects them. There is no better law firm. I know, I hired them.

Gary Williams is arguably the most knowledgeable, professional, competent, and compassionate family law attorneys in the area. His ability to comprehend highly complex cases and build a winning strategy is second to none. His true regard for the families he represents and his focus on their best interests is always his first priority. I would highly recommend him for any family law matters.

Just no..there’s a reason why this guy has solid granite tables, large golden rings, and you don’t. My money most likely went to another one of his granite tables and added to his jewelry collection. And I have zero to show for it, except for a wooden table and bruised ego for trusting this law firm.
Gary & Courtney are great! Gary has a tremendous reputation for helping his clients and going to the mat for them. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs their help.

I hope I never need a divorce lawyer again, but if I do, Jesus Lopez would be the one I would call. Check out his website and you'll note all the commendations he's garnered, they are well deserved. If you need a great lawyer, Jesus Lopez is the one to call.

What follows is only my opinion: We trusted this law firm with our case because Gary was highly recommended. My husband has a high conflict case with his ex and his kids are alienated from him, it’s been over a year since we’ve seen them. We saw the bad reviews and thought it was extremely unprofessional how he responds to every bad review and bashes that client. We still stuck with him because he had us believe he knew exactly how to take on the case. Let me share with you, if you are a parent dealing with alienation NEVER agree to appoint a guardian. That’s the first mistake we made. Gary said he wanted to bring Courtney Bowes on board cause she was great dealing with this. When my husband met with her she stated she was no expert dealing with alienation. The guardians job is to be the voice for the KIDS. So the first place they will go is to the kids to hear what they want. Gary agreed to abating my husbands timeshare, which was ANOTHER poor decision because now we have to fight to get his visitation back. He’s very unprofessional with his clients, and of course because he decided to hire a buddy of his he believed her when she said “there was no alienation found” great can anyone explain how ANY child would refuse to see a parent, reject a parent, not visit a parent, and the other parent allows it? No physical evidence of ANY TYPE OF ABUSE. This goes to show you how uneducated the court system is when it comes to alienation. Oh but after making an absolute mess of the situation the guy withdraws because of course he didn’t believe the kids were alienated despite all the evidence provided. He said we weren’t in sync with his plan, which was to drop out of this case and just go to counseling. Then he didn’t even have the courtesy to tell us over the phone or in person, refused to speak with us. Real good job Gary. Stay away from this law firm. This is a REAL REVIEW, my husband was a real client. And this was the absolute worst experience ever. 10k down the drain with this guy, and then the other thousands spent on the guardian he recommended , nothing resolved. He charges $400 an hour and that retainer won’t last you long. If you don’t believe me with how he treats his clients, view his Avvo account and the reviews posted there, not just the reviews but how he handles bad reviews. He actually responds and bashes the reviewer. I will NEVER recommend this guy to anyone, I will do the exact opposite. Oh be cautious when you approach attorneys about bad reviews, they always have an excuse. I never believe the good reviews because a lot of times fake users or their friends help them with it. View the bad reviews and see if they all say similar things.I will be reporting him. If you need help with alienation cases you are better off contacting an expert of P.A. there are a only a few, have them interview attorneys for you and ask how they deal with these cases. If you have the strength and time represent yourself and save your money. Losing your kids is the worst thing, don’t lose all your money and sanity as well by retaining an inexperienced attorney and costing you more money, more time, and more pain! BEWARE AS OF 03/22/19 Because of the negative review I provided about my husbands case, Mr.Williams is trying to take away my first amendment right to free speech by filing a frivolous suit against me for defamation (case number 19-001997-Cl) Now I am forced to forward complaint to state bar association. I feel Mr.Williams is being a bully and using intimidation tactics with myself as well as other litigants who were not happy with his representation. See case number 18-002953-Cl in Pinellas County records.(Another person he filed the same suit against asking for 500k, a loss he claimed against me as well)Also I am filing an ethics complaint with the florida bar and the american bar association against him when the case is dismissed. The whole point of a review is to share your experience. Our experience was terrible and we would like to make people aware of this, they can decide for themselves what they believe and do.

Indeed, I am no client, customer, or representative in any way to this law firm. However, searching for someone you can trust starts by previous experiences, good and bad. It would be nice for the person responding to the majority of bad reviews to "shed light" on some of the good ones. Is there any to date?

Definitely the best attorney out of all 3 of the ones I've hired. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He connected dots and answered all questions without being dismissive or in a rush. I feel as if I was treated as I was supposed to the entire time through my very nasty divorce. His staff and firm was the same way and the atmosphere felt very pleasant. I wish I would have hired him in the beginning as he does get results and has the knowledge to protect you. In my opinion, there is no better family law attorney then Mr. Gregg. If you hire him, you will not be disappointed.

Gary Williams is a knowledgeable, effective and trusted law professional, with ample experience in family practice. He worked on a delicate divorce case with me, and was able to reach a fair and satisfactory agreement in a friendly negotiated process. Gary and his office staff are attentive and responsive.

Mr. Gary Williams is a smart, thoughtful, knowledgeable and tenacious attorney. We recently settled an ongoing dispute regarding the enforcement of the terms of a prenuptial agreement. It was an arduous and frustrating 5 year long process as my ex fought us every step of the way. Mr. Williams and his staff stood by me through this whole ordeal with understanding and patience and ending up getting me a deal that was fair and protected me from my ex. My ex is a very vindictive person and I was concerned he may seek retribution now that the case was settled. Mr. Williams took my concerns to heart and included language in the settlement barring him from harassing me in the future. That meant a lot to me. His staff is also wonderful. Very professional and helpful. In addition, Mr. Williams’s staff ending up saving me some money on fees as he is able to delegate certain tasks to paralegals and other staff members that bill at a much lower rate. My ex initially had a lawyer that had no staff and ended up paying much higher legal fees as everything his attorney did was billed at the attorney’s rate. Mr. Williams and his staff are wonderful allies to have in trying times. I highly recommend The Law Firm for Family Law and Mr. Gary Williams if you find yourself going through such times.

Gary and his staff are awesome! While divorce isn't something we all strive to go through, he makes the process much easier. He is knowledgeable, determined and looks out for the best interest of his clients and their children. He and his staff communicate well and provide assistance when needed. He isn't just my family law attorney, he is a friend. Even after my divorce, there are still issues that arise and questions that need to be answered. He is always there to answer questions and guide me through the "post divorce" years as well. I highly recommend Gary Williams and the team at The Law Firm for Family Law.

Absolutely the best attorney!! The firm as a whole is courteous and professional. They give you straight answers as to what the process will entail and made me feel that they had a personal interest as to the welfare of me and my family. Their courtroom presence was organized, detailed and impressive. When Mr. Williams speaks on your behalf, know that he is fully informed and well prepared to do his very best to win your case - which he did for me and my family! We are truly grateful to everyone in his office. I highly recommend Mr. Williams and all of his associates.

Divorce is a very challenging process to go through. Mr. Williams has brought comfort to me by way of his experience, professionalism, drive and persistence to ensure he is representing and executing what's best for me and my family. Mr. Williams is 100% ethical, in a "divorce" world filled with unethical practices and antics. I feel such a piece of mind and protection knowing that Mr. Williams is representing me through such a challenge of a divorce. This feeling affords me the opportunity to live my life and find happiness (in between court dates and until this is over). I would recommend Mr Williams to anyone that is fighting a tough battle, you couldn't have a better attorney on your side!
