This firm was recommended by a friend. Katherine Scott was the attorney who handled my divorce, her paralegal was CeCe Ingle, billing was handled by Jacqueline Glade. I greatly admire the professionalism and empathy of everyone on my team. All questions or concerns were handled in a timely and efficient manner - ALWAYS. I contacted them by phone, by email and occasionally in person. I never had to wait for a response - someone was always on top of things. The fact there were offices in Tampa and St Petersburg was a bonus to me as I moved across the bay during the process. My divorce involved the military, and Katherine was not well versed in the intricacies and challenges of the military aspect, but there was another attorney in the firm with whom she could consult, and I had done a great deal of research myself, so we muddled through quite well. The only aspect of the process with which I have issue is the "mediation" portion. In my opinion it was a complete waste of time and money! I paid my lawyer & the mediator and my ex-spouse paid his lawyer and the mediator (with a 4 hour minimum) and in the opinion of both my ex-spouse and myself, we were further apart after the mediation session than we had been going in. We cancelled the subsequent mediation session and hammered things out on our own.
