I'm in the beginning of the process but every person I have spoke with is wonderfully helpful, explains things as many times as I need to understand the process they are great I'm blessed to have found them.

I was extremely pleased with the level of service from Avard Law. When I called with a question, they always returned my call promptly. I learned a great deal in my initial consultation with Debbie. I was referred to Avard Law from a previous satisfied disability client. I spoke with them about my case and they assured me they could help me, as my previous lawyer was unable to. It took a while but they made me aware at each stage of the process how long it could take. My attorney Douglas Mohney was very supportive and his paralegal was very knowledgeable and supportive as well. I would use Avard Law for any other legal services they Provide as they made me feel like they had time to talk to me and keep me informed.

Avard Law responded promptly to my request for assistance with the denial of my benefits. Avard not only helped me win, they've also saved my life & given me a future.
My experience with them was a huge difference from the last "attorney" who basically destroyed my case (someone who should NOT be in practice & would do much better working in McDonald's). Avard got me a hearing with a good judge. In the hearing, Mr. Doug Mohney questioned me in front of the judge & highlighted my conditions, etc. To my surprise, I was informed we won that same day!
This was a huge difference from the previous person who not only dragged my perfectly eligible case for almost ten years, but who also literally sat in silence at every hearing while the judges attacked me & made light of my medical conditions. Her staff was equally negligent & abusive. They'd demand that I get all my medical records a week before my hearing. They'd request the same documents repeatedly. In all my efforts, her assistant hollered at me for simply following up on the status.
You'll get none of that at Avard! I was pleasantly surprised that Cole, the case manager, was able to retrieve my medical records without ordering me to do his job. He was also pleasant to "work" with and assured me that Avard's lawyers were perfectly competent handle my case properly.
Due to the damage done to my Disability case by the previous person, unfortunately I couldn't pursue my Disability Benefits. However Avard helped me win other benefits, which I hope will help prevent me from becoming homeless again & help me leave the same abusive family who made me homeless in the first place (who lied to law enforcement & a judge to legally throw me out in the streets all based on having various medical problems).
My only complaint is that I wish the case managar & attorney were available for more questions after this accomplishment & during the waiting game. Make sure you maintain clear communication with Avard in your fight to win when you're clearly eligible. And make sure you read as much information on Avard's web site.

I was very pleased with the continued updates from your office. As my hearing date got closer, Craig P. Contacted me several times for an update on my health issues. Craig and I had time to discuss any new issues right before the hearing. He had prepared 31 medical exhibits for the judge. The hearing took about 20 minutes and I owe that to Craig doing a thorough job preparing the judge with all critical information. I could not have done this without Avard Law. I would highly recommend Avard Law to anyone.
