Shendell Law Firm was instrumental in recent weeks dealing with a rogue management company that had attempted to cancel our Annual Election.They directed this company to re-mail notices and ballots to members, provide proof of mailings, and an updated roster that showed multiple errors. The roster errors had allowed the management company to keep members in the dark, and avoid having a quorum. Annual Meeting was held with Shendell Law overseeing the LCAM, their presence kept the process moving with a successful conclusion. Condo Law is a rough and tumble business when dealing with shady Property Managers, and condo owners who in many case don’t participate then complain once a year. As an owner I was guilty of that ambivalence, no more. I encourage all owners to get involved, work with the board, monitor dealings, and talk with your neighbors, information is vital in a condo. I give Shendell Law very high marks based on facts.

having the same problem with firm holding funds and property docs as far as lease docs and rent payments for over 2 months. Not sure how they benefit on this, but its has been a hassle to take over a small condo I purchased on a foreclosure bidding and they have been the lawyer for the HOA who were also collecting the rents from a tenant. Seriously we are talking about less than 2k. this is ridiculous. ANd to top it off the lawyer will give orders to the staff to not talk to you on telephone and they hang up on you. OMG. Grow up.

Most Likely the Worst Attorney I have ever Dealt with.
If your are Property Management Company I would Strongly Suggest that you do not use this Attorney. As they hold funds for an Unaccetable period. The Amount of money they get paid they should wire the Money Immediately to Property Management Company. But they just hold it until they feel like paying.
