As most people , I had limited knowledge and no experience in caring for an elderly person ( in this case, my mother). With their help I was able to place my mother in a high quality nursing home. With their experience , my mother's application for Medicaid was successful. Thus I feel my mother's physical and financial future is safe. The entire staff is dedicated to these ends. I am grateful and thankful.

Alice was a godsend for my family. I can't imagine where we'd be without her help and guidance. She shepherded us through a very complex legal and financial system, helping me get care for my mother, who suffers from dementia, and helping my family set up a vital trust with my father, who is still a very spry and active 92. She also was key to helping him get veterans' benefits (he served in WW2 and Korea). She has always been readily available, a phone call away, and I've continued to seek her counsel as problems occasionally crop up. Finally, I can personally attest that she is widely known and respected in South Florida. In one case, the owner of an elder care nursing service personally called me back when he saw that I had been referred by Alice. Another time, as I was going through papers at a rehab facility that cares for my mother, one of the administrators saw the name of my attorney. "Alice is the best," she volunteered. "She really knows it all." True story.

I contacted the Law office of Alice Reiter Feld because my husband, who had been diagnosed with a rare form of dementia about 2 years ago, had taken a sudden turn for the worse and I was completely overwhelmed and distraught. He was unable to communicate, he was falling almost daily at home, and he had become physically aggressive towards me. He was unable to work or take care of himself. It was becoming impossible for me to take care of him at home. I had reached out to every community agency, doctor, support group, religious group, and even local representatives looking for help! At the same time, Alice reminded me to take care of my own affairs, and she did my new will, living will, power of attorney, and medical power of attorney papers.

Tracy Meli, the Senior Legal Assistant, is a pleasure to work with. She is professional, courteous, and very efficient. She is always available to answer questions by phone or by email. Tracy really cares about you as a person, not just as a client.
