I found myself as a tenant in a fairly odd situation in respect too my landlord and the outright refusal to fix necessities pertaining to the foundation of the home. Among those necessities a tile floor that has up until now risen 6 inches, landlord also allowed a $1500 water bill too accrue because of the refusal too fix a basic toilet leak. After those series of events I withheld rent owed and because of the uniqueness of the situation felt I needed an attorney who could provide an additional skill set that might be lacking in other landlord/tenant attorneys.
