I have worked with Mark to handle numerous Real Estate transactions for over 10 years. He recently handled a closing which was timely and required a zoning issue that was quickly resolved. Mark represented me in a lengthy complex dispute with a Major Insurance Carrier with a very
successful outcome. I highly recommend him and his excellent knowledge of Real Estate Law.
Mark Schecter was counsel for me for over 10 years during which time I created several commercial real estate developments. His counsel was valued highly which included guidance in real estate and land acquisitions, construction loan financing documentation, partnership agreements and creating operating and management agreements. I would recommend Mark as an outstanding attorney that is professional and knowledgeable.
and every time we have been in need of his legal assistance and guidance, his cooperation and support has always been performed
in a professional and personal manner on a timely basis in any and
all of our real estate transactions.
We will certainly continue to utilize Mr. Schecter Law Firm in the future.
of my new home and also assisted with other pertinent legal Realestate issues that came up during the closing. He made himself available at all times and was quick to respond when important issues came up. He was able to work through the legal requirements and ultimately my project moved forward. I can't recommend him enough as I was very pleased with the service.
That doesn't make him a good person. As soon as he found out that the money I had available to pay him was small (under $10 thousand), I was literally mocked and belittled. I won't quote Mark, but it was suggested I wanted free services when in good faith I was looking for a real estate attorney.
I'm not sure if he had a bad night, but if I won the lottery I would never retain his services. I'm still in disbelief at what he said, and the abhorrent suggestion that I called to solicit him for free services because I don't have tens of thousands I can pay out of pocket.
I've only had the one conversation with him and he ensured he will never, ever get a call from me again. I'm very sure he does not care, I'd just like to warn anybody else without tens of thousands of dollars to avoid calling and having a wave of negativity wash over you. Not good for your day. Call someone else.
Sincerely,
Jerry Moore
