If you are reading this, you are like me. I spent days, hours, and countless emails with various law firms all over the state of Florida. I received the disturbing call in April of 2017, when I was told that my long term disability benefits were abruptly cut off in an annual review. That phone call changed the course of my life at that moment, as failing health and very limited income from SSD left me in a place where I would lose 60 % of my monthly income. Dabdoub Law Firm was refer to me by Joseph McDonald at McDonald & McDonald Law firm located in Daytona Ohio. I couldn’t be more satisfy and happy I contacted Dabdoub law firm. After contacting 12 law firms before contacting Dabdoub law firm. I was giving up hope. My case for long term disability was a quick case that just needed to be reinstated. Lawyers I contacted where giving me this whole big long stories on how they will go about my case. Really, they made it seem worse than it was and I knew they were just going to prolong my case and on top of everything they would ask for 33.3 % of any present and future payment for 5 or 7 years. That I taught it was crazy! Run away from any law that request that.

Hello this review regarding the professional and timely handling of my Disability Case is being done it a effort to assist anyone who has a legitimate disability claim and would like the absolute best chance of it being settled favorably . My assessment of the professional job that was needed to win my case and the services received that resulted in winning a settlement that was 100 % larger than the insurance company has originally offered , was accomplished by Nina and Eddie at the firm . I am the first one to admit that I AM WITHOUT A DOUBT THE MOST DIFFICULT CLIENT THEY HAVE HAD OR WILL EVER HAVE . I can make this statement due to the fact that I have spent over 30 years in the insurance / financial services industry , as matter of fact one of my specialties was the marketing and selling of both individual and group disability products . I am sure both Eddie and Nina would agree that this made there job of representing me and negotiating my settlement very challenging , as my extensive knowledge of the industry and in particular disability income products was often times a hindrance . I was fighting with my short term disability and I was getting absolutely no where. I wish I could give more than 5 stars but that's as high as I am able to rate the professionalism, kindness and sincere compassion that has been given to me during my journey to obtain my STD and LTD from Cigna, with the most astonishing help from Nina and Sonya with Dabdoub Law Firm! I had a somewhat complicated claim. There was no single injury or illness, rather a litany of issues that combined made it impossible to meet the needs of my employment. I met with Eddie Dabdoub to evaluate and he was frank, direct, yet sympathetic. He managed my expectations realistically and prepped me for my role in the process. My initial claim was approved within a few weeks.
Unfortunately the insurer insisted on additional documentation that we determined was not relevant to my case. We attempted to respond in an appropriate manner, but I missed a deadline by a few days and benefits were suspended. We loaded up a massive amount of information, labs, letters, progress notes and filed an appeal. Both Eddie and his associate Kevin Schaefer drafted a bullet-proof 11 page document that did the trick. The appeal was approved almost immediately.
