Paul was incredibly helpful in advising regarding a dispute I had with a landlord who was trying to retain our entire damage deposit for things such as burnt out light bulbs, and things that clearly fell into normal wear and tear. He was quick to respond and generous with information. He knows his stuff. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent! Highly recommend. Honest, ethical, reliable, and hardworking. Paul is incredibly determined. He gives a realistic assessment of what he sees as possible - and will give above and beyond effort.

I would have to say that Mr. Richmond was able to do more harm to my case than benefit. - He is highly disorganized - Provides no clear direction - Fails to provide copies of stamped paperwork that has been filed - Files the incorrect paperwork - Doesn't file appropriate paperwork - Over bills and double bills - Unable explain his billing when questioned - An embarrassment in the courtroom (lacks organization and ability to present information) - Doesn't take responsibility for his own mistakes, but wants to put it on the client and then tell you all the "good" he has done.
He claims to be very good in a mediation setting and I can not attest to this. However, everything I saw from this "attorney" would suggest that the cooperation comes from the opposing attorney.
I am inclined to file a complaint with the Bar association and the Better Business Bureau
I'm giving this review before my case is even over. First of all, I searched for days. Calling and showing up at attorney's office's, for them to turn me away or refer me to attorney's miles away. I found Paul Richmond Law through google. I had emailed Paul one night. It was very late. The next day I was on a mission to find an attorney. It was around 10am or so when I had lost all hope. My phone rang and it was Paul Richmond attorney at Law. I told him briefly what I needed, and without me hiring him; he was on the case. He emailed me with things about Washington law and told me what I needed to do. After a few moments I headed to his office and Paul was still sending me things and calling me to see if I wanted his services. And if I understood what my rights where. I did hire him as my attorney. He is very straight forward. He doesn't beat around the bush. I believe he is very passionate at what he does and he works on your case like you are part of his family. I haven't even went to court and no matter what the outcome will be. I know Paul gave 110% toward me winning my case. I also forgot to mention his paralegal, Gretchen. She as well has the same passion. If you read my entire review. Than don't hesitate to hire Paul for your legal matters.

Paul and Gretchen(his paralegal) are by far the most caring hardworking attorneys I've ever met. In the past I've had attorneys take my money and represent me because that was there job. Paul was different you could tell he honestly cared about me and my childrens well being. This was in a family law case and I've also used him in landlord/tenant. In both circumstances I came out on top. Both him and Gretchen made me feel calm and comfortable which it is hard for me to relax sometimes. I would recommend them over and over I would give them 100 stars if I could because the are that good. They resolve things in very timely manner. For instance I met Paul for the first time about my case at 430 p.m. the on july 3rd with the 4th of july the next day didn't expect to hear back from him for a week or so. But he called me the morning of the 5th and had a wonderful suprise for me to go to court that morning and we won the case and my kids came home. Just goes to show how much he cared that he worked tirelessly over the holiday helping me.

I retained Paul to handle my divorce in a timely manner. He was given all the information needed and was supposed to file immediately. He waited for 3 months to file, constantly making excuses and then filed with the courts for me to have barely anytime with my child when I requested full custody. The night before my mediation he called and requested basic information that i had given him over and over again, he literally had no idea what was happening in my case. After I fired Paul as my attorney he sent me a bill for 8500$. We never went court, never had a mediation. His paralegal did all of the work and filing.
I wouldn’t suggest Paul to represent you even if it was free. He has negative feedback on his reviews, similar to mine, then a couple weeks later they are removed after Paul requests a private conversation with the reviewer

Incompetent, unprofessional, and unreliable. I would be happy to talk to anyone further about my experience because, choosing a quality family law lawyer is so important. One thing I do know is that Mr. Richmond is not the one to choose. Please learn from my horrible experience and seek representation elsewhere. The only reason why he is getting 1 stat is because that’s the minimum google allows you to give.

Why do businesses, law practices, etc. encourage you to email and or leave messages, when they have no intetion of replying? Unprofessional and discourteous.

I hired Paul Richmond to represent me in a case involving consumer rights under Consumer Law. The issue involved an automobile. The vehicle exhibited serious issues beginning on the drive home. The problems with the vehicle just kept piling up. I tried many times to get the dealership to repair the issues under the limited warranty that came with the vehicle. The dealership however was non cooperative in repairing the problems. After exhausting all my apparent avenues I hired Mr. Richmond to represent me in the matter. He drafted a very professional letter, detailing the possible multiple violations of my rights under consumer law, to the dealership that sold me the vehicle. Within 3 business day's he received a response from the dealership's attorney. They wanted to settle in our favor. We agreed to the settlement offer. Within 5 business day's the issue was settled in our favor. All funds I had expended in purchasing and repairing the vehicle were returned 100%. That is excellent representation and results. I would highly recommend Mr. Richmond in any of his area's of practice. Chester

Paul is an incredible communicator especially when one is trying to decipher what to do in a complicated situation, when right and wrong may not appear to be as clear to others as it is to you, when you realize that you need to work with the system versus against it..strategy is necessary to survive when you are faced with needing to work with our legal system...and Paul will help navigate these waters &..how to stay afloat without losing your way. I highly respect him...

Paul was great to work with!!! He helped reduce a credit card debt that was out of state and in collections for about 4 years. He got the debt reduced by over half in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Paul Richmond!
