Manni is not a good lawyer he is a bully he ran up the estate bill to over $6,000 and didn’t get the correct letter of testimony from the court. I the personal representative of the estate had to go to the courthouse myself after many attempts to get the correct letter him. Cohen Manni brought me 3 or 4 letters with his firm name on and signed by him which were of no use to the estate and changed the estate for his time, you would think that a lawyer with many years of estate law would know what a letter of testimony is, he wasted my time and ran up the bill for the estate. It was not a good experience working with him for the estate, as he tried to bully me into doing what he wanted and not listing to me. I would not recommend him to anyone. He left the estate in probate after running up over $6,000.

Manni wanted to charge $1000.00 just to file a continuance. I was then advised to do what I could to get one filed so he could take on the case. After getting a continuance set he refused to help with the case. Apparently they only work cases that are simple.

My wife and I enjoy working with Mr. Cohen. Of course any professional is going to charge a fee for his time and advice. With all of his decades of experience the work is done with precision and very efficiently. As a result the final dollar amount is less than going with an firm or attorney with less experience. Furthermore we appreciate his gentlemanly manners.

Honest and upfront

Called to ask a couple questions and higher them for a case coming up, they didn't even want to talk to me about it without paying 200 an hour, no thanks.

After the attorney I had made mistakes that cost me my kids. I asked a client who was an attorney who he would recommend. He recommended Mark Theune. After interviewing Mark I hired him and he finished this nasty divorce with my crazy ex-wife.
Not only was he outstanding, but his firm was too. I used Jake Cohen to incorporate my business at the time. When Mark was unavailable he had Ken's son stand in for him in court. He did an awesome job!
The office staff is excellent, Hazel is amazing, and all are professional and don't make you feel like your part of the herd of cattle in line for the slaughter.
One important thing to note for any that are on more limited budgets. Hiring this firm was more cost effective than other cheaper by the hour firms. They do a better job for the money and do not nickle dime you for every copy or other clerical thing they do. I could not recommend them highly enough.
Recently I found out that Mark passed away in a diving accident. He will be missed. He truly helped me through one of the worst times of my life and I considered him a friend. Fair winds and calm seas Mark, thank you.
