I am a certified professional guardian and Karen has represented me in all of my guardianships over several years. She understands the complexities of guardian law and the guardian standards of practice, and has been an invaluable help with preparing the detailed, and sometimes complicated forms and financial accounting documents periodically required of guardians by the Court. She is highly principled and consistently implores me in my practice to always be mindful of both my clients’ needs and the expectations of the court above all other considerations. Her ethics are irreproachable. Her professional conduct is both refreshing and the antithesis of the stereotypical reputation unfairly and too often applied to her profession.

I do not recommend Karen Nakagawa. Karen did not listen to my family. I believe she was more interested in billing us than what was best for the kids.

I watched Karen Nakagawa not listen to the family nor the children (12 & 17) she was the guardian ad litem for. Finally the judge dismissed Karen. (Fired) I believe Karen Nakagawa is not the attorney for you. She owes these 2 kid a lot of money for waisted attorney fees! $$$$$ Do not waist your $$$
