The virtual office concept she has developed and refined enabled nearly immediate responses to questions and information transmittals. Advanced file sharing methods and absence of "brick and mortar" overhead meant the "product" was delivered at lower cost than one could expect from "downtown" firms with similar credentials. We were able to talk through everything over the phone or email and the only time I had to physically go into the office was to sign the final documents. When we began our estate planning, in addition to the standard wills, powers of attorney and directives, we wanted to establish a pet trust to provide continuity of care for our many animals. We were dismayed to discover that none of the attorneys in our local area had even heard of a pet trust. An internet search turned up Stacey’s firm as one of the few firms in all of Washington that even mentioned providing for pets and pet trusts in particular. The only problem was that Stacey is based a two hour drive from our home. Fortunately, it turns out that Stacey’s firm is on the leading edge of distance law.

Through Stacey’s firm we were able to do all of our estate planning, including our detailed pet trust, at a distance. Over a period of several months, we had numerous phone conversations and email exchanges with Stacey and her associates; during this process, we established close connections with Stacey, Sherry and the office staff.
