I was pulled over and charged with a DUI. I felt like my whole world was turned upside down, and I began the search for someone to represent me. Another told me not to bother with the DOL hearing?!?..the other 2 seemed reasonable, but I could not come up with the down payment before my arraignment, and they were unwilling to represent me without it. But with the extra time and financial obligations that go with a trial, and the risk of losing a deal with the prosecutor should a jury have found me guilty, I accepted the bargain.

Matt got me a deal for reckless for a DUI refusal. From a results standpoint, that is most likely the best outcome one could get from a refusal. Matt was also very responsive through email, text and phone, and he always reminded me of important dates, although he was a bit last minute during the beginning of the process. Not sure if it was just me not taking initiative, but some areas of improvement is that sometimes it seems he was too laid back, but since this is my first infraction, maybe that's just how it is? Again, from a results perspective, I would definitely recommend Matt.

I needed a seasoned DUI attorney to help me out during a tough time in my life. I've never had an encounter with law enforcement so I had no idea what to do or where to go.

I read through all of the reviews on other lawyers in the Seattle/Bellevue area and came across Matt! From beginning the process of hiring a lawyer to the settlement in court, Matt was always there for me when I needed him. I could tell from our consultation that Matt was a no BS, straight shooting guy so I decided to hire him. Getting a DUI was one of the scariest things that has ever happened to me. Luckily I found Matt who helped make the process easy. I've dealt with attorneys in family law matters and Matt was the complete opposite of the past attorneys I've hired - he is a good guy who cares about the people he represents.

After having a DUI case thrown into my life, all I wanted was to deal with it to the best extent possible and move on with my life - and Matt is the lawyer that made it all possible.

If you could ask yourself who to choose in this situation, would you go for an attorney that has run-of-the-mill reviews, or one that has this track-record for making the absolute best of your individual case down to the tiniest detail? It scares me that there are other DUI lawyers out there that wouldn't pay as close attention to these things as Matt, and I could have ended up with them pleading my case. If there is absolutely any possible problem with the prosecutors case, I guarantee you that Matt will find it. My arresting officer was in fact on the DUI task force for Seattle - if anyone could build a water-tight case against me, it would have been that officer. Matt is just so mastered in DUI cases that he was able to find problems with the initial reason for the stop and the roadside tests. What seemed to be hopeless was quite the opposite in fact, and because of Matt's prowess, I'm able to move on from this with the absolute minimum repercussions possible.
