I have just completed my Chapter 13, and received my notice of discharge. I am VERY please with the service of Christopher Benson and his staff. Chris is on top of his game, i saw him as east coast friendly meaning, we’re here not to mess around and get to the point. He talks you through the steps and helps you get back on track and make things better. I had a last minute issue come up right after filing bankruptcy on a car that got taken away because of filing and they wanted me to fix wear and tear on the vehicle that was taken. And filed against my insurance. So I had him add it to my debts before it was all said and done.

Christopher cancelled my initial consultation appointment, I'm not sure why, but something came up on his end. I understand things in the legal word happen, so this wasn't a problem, I was just told to reschedule..no problem, except that when I called to reschedule I was told that Christopher decided not to talk to me about my situation and refused to reschedule me. I was told he didn't want to get involved with a bankruptcy ( which I never mentioned, want or need}, and that with a will in probate it was a problem. It seems to me this office is only chasing the easy money, and won't even talk to you unless they see an "open and shut" case. Fortunately there are other lawyers who aren't afraid to take on complicated cases.......IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE: Yes, I was contacted before my initial consultation and told to reschedule and I appreciated the call, however, I was NOT told to find another law firm so my case could be "handled in a timely manner", I was told to find another law firm because you didn't want to take on the case due to the complications of the probate, and not to reschedule me.
