Bad customer service and it’s all they want is your money

The worst attorney office ever, they charge so much and not help with anything, I had to pay them $300 to get my ticket dismissed, then I had to take driving course costs more than the fine, so they charged me $300 just to get me a court day and police report which I could do by myself without any cost,, they are horrible

I received their letter, spoke to Mila and was given great promises and paid the money which is really only what they are interested in. This is a borderline scam. These people have taken lessons from Bernie Madoff in misrepresentation. The ticket was not dismissed, it was changed to a supposedly lower infraction and I had to take an online driver education class for $40. There was no mention of class completion on the court documents. the ticket was changed, according to Mila, to a non moving violation but according to the court website it's still looks like a moving violation. The ticket amount went from $187 to $146. Big deal. Mila is just inept and again only interested in obtaining the fee. She then failed to followup. I had to contact them two months later she then even sent the wrong case number. Again She is is only interested in collecting the fee. This is really a scam preying on the average person. Stryder called me twice but he is the perpetrator of this scam. Stay away from this organization.

Relatvely minor fenderbender - no one hurt BUT I am a senior driver and the court comes down on my age so I was delighted to find Emerald City Law Group( and Mila Adams who was able to get the charge reduced, kept off my record. I dod not have to spend hours in court and the fine was relatively minor. I would definitely recommend this route

I was a little skeptical when the rep said sit back and let us do the work, don't worry. But my ticket was dismissed! I would recommend these guys for sure. Only issue was getting results, took a couple of days to hear about the dismissal.

I received a speeding infraction while I was traveling in Seattle from out of state. I didn't want the ticket to go onto my record so I looked around for getting an attorney to represent me in court.

When I called Emerald City Law Group, Mila was quick to find my ticket and assured me that they would be able to get my ticket dismissed or reduced to a non-moving violation or I would get my money back. She told me to relax and let them handle all the work.

After my court date, I received notice from Mila that my ticket had been reduced to a non-moving violation. Great work from this group and at a reasonable price. I would recommend them for any traffic violations especially if you're from out of state!

I received a ticket due to a minor scrape while parallel parking. I received a notice from Emerald in the mail - seemed like a no brainer since if they don't get the ticket dismissed they promise nothing out of pocket...I called and they explained the process well over the phone. They took care of everything. I did not even have to go to court. They were able to reduce the ticket to a non moving violation which won't be on my permanent record. Good communication - was very pleased with the end result.

When I got into a minor fender bender in Washington State (my fault), I received a letter from Emerald Law Group saying they could help out. They told me they would get me out of my ticket and that I didn't have anything to worry about. I paid them and trusted they would take care of the situation because I don't live in Washington and found relief in believing someone could help me. When my court date arrived, they didn't show up to represent me. I only found out because I had befriended the person I hit and he sent me a message from the courtroom. Turns out the policeman that arrived at the accident scene was also there, but Emerald Law Group didn't send a representative for me. They couldn't explain the error and were determined to try again. It took two or three weeks of me pleading for a refund before someone helped me with that. Luckily I was able to work out a deal with the court on my own where I paid them about $200 to keep the ticket off my record (as long as I didn't get a moving violation for the next year), but one of the workers at Emerald Law Group called me and tried to take credit for the deal that I made for myself. When these lawyers tell you to sit back and relax, just don't. You might have to keep an eye on them to complete the services you ask for.

They initiated contact with me. I assume they research police records for their leads. My initial phone call was with someone who didn't seem experienced, and I didn't have any further contact with her.
I negotiate contracts myself as part of my job, so I had what I thought were careful questions, when I followed up and spoke with Stryker about them to my satisfaction.
It appears they were in Court for me the day they said they would be, and go the result they promised. I asked for verification of that and Mila sent me a screenshot of the Court records that confirmed what she was saying.
All in all, I am comfortable recommending them. It's a relatively small investment, and they appeared to be extremely efficient and professional. Nice job!

I received a collection notice in the mail after they said they were taking care of it. Never heard back from anyone, even after emailing and calling them. All they did was take my $250 and do nothing.

Edit- Eventually heard from Fredi and the ticket was dismissed a year later.

I was hesitant about hiring a lawyer in order to beat or reduce a traffic infraction due to the amount of negative reviews I have seen online and the horror stories. I did not want this ticket to be on my record and my understanding of the law gave me the impression my ticket should be dismissed, but not knowing the full extent of the law I left it up to the pros. I made the worst mistake by hiring emerald city law group to fight my traffic ticket.

After paying them, they have yet to contact me one single time. Every few weeks I've had to contact them to see what is going on with the ticket and every time they tell me that the hearing is being extended. It's been 5 months since the ticket and I just received in the mail a notice of suspended license on the ticket that I was having them fight!!!!! Then a week later I get another letter in the mail informing me my ticket is being sent to collections. And all they(emerald city law group) can tell me is to pay the ticket so it doesn't get sent to collections and ruin my credit.... I'm so furious. I can't ever recommend this incompetent law group. Absolutely the worst people to deal with.

Uncommunicative, incompetent, ineffective, and a waste of time!

Just a garbage 'service' all around. I retained them, they didn't take *any* information from me, wasted months when they didn't return phone calls, had to be badgered into sending mail, had me take some online driving course for an additional fee, lost the fact that they'd done so, asked me to do it again, and ultimately did nothing to help with the ticket. Not a surprise, since they'd collected no information from me.

I received a ticket due to a wrong turn. I would have fought the ticket myself, but did not have enough time. The paralegal Sonya explained the process very well over the phone. They took care of everything. I did not even have to go to court. They were able to remove points from my ticket. Sonya kept me informed. It was a pleasant service.

As always, my ticket were dismissed without me going to court. I did not do anything wrong, so I knew Emerald City Law Group would bail me out.

I was hesitant to higher an attorney to deal with a ticket I received. However, I'm so glad that I did and that I went with Emerald City Law Group. I received a moving violation for speeding on April 12. I had recently received a mailed advertisement from Emerald City Law Group, which I had saved, so I contacted them. Brandi and Freddy handled my intake efficiently, and told me exactly what to expect (either a reduction to a non-moving violation or a complete dismissal, or my money back.) Six weeks later their attorney went to court, met with the prosecutor and arranged a reduction to a non-moving violation, same fee as the original ticket, which I paid on the spot (I went to the court to observe.) Clear communication, reasonable fee, ideal outcome. All in all, an excellent experience.

Very reasonable fees and the process couldn't have been any easier. Simply emailed them my speeding ticket and they got it dismissed. Didn't even have to go to court and nothing is on my record.

Pretty straight forward really.... I filled in the paperwork, sent them $250 and a couple of months later they informed me my ticket had been reduced to a "Non moving violation" the fine wasn't much different, but! Fantastic Service. First time I've ever used a law firm for a speeding ticket. A friend a work gave me their number and I reluctantly said "ok", let's give them a try! I got a speeding ticket back in September 2015 while visiting from Florida to attend my best friend's wedding. About three weeks later I started the process of resolving the issue. Living in Florida, I decided it was best to hire an attorney. My situation was a little sticky in the sense that I had apparently waited too long to request to fight the ticket. Most firms I spoke to, including Brandi at Emerald, told me there were no guarantees in having the court recall the ticket for us to fight it (Motion to Vacate). When I got my second ticket this year, after going 10 years without one, I decided that I would give Emerald City Law Group a try.

After signing the agreement and sending in payment and a copy of the ticket, they did everything else. A court date was scheduled and they appeared on my behalf.

They were able to get the fine reduced and the speeding ticket changed to a non-moving violation. With the cost of their fees, that ended up costing a bit more than the original ticket, but not missing a day of work and keeping my insurance rates low will make it worthwhile.

Very professional service. Moving violation reduced to non-moving. Not having to worry about "that second ticket in a year" is worth it (even though I only had one ticket in twenty years).

I hired this firm for a 5 miles over the limit speeding violation. We agreed upon a payment of $250 as a total fee for their services, including all additional fees and potential fines. Following the court date they are charging a total $374.00 following changing the violation from a moving to a non-moving violation. Beware, use Babara Bowden. She will charge a total of $250 regardless of outcome and charge what what originally agreed upon without any hidden fees.
