I'm really surprised to see these other reviews. In all of my dealings with Terri she has been professional and prompt. She is knowledgeable and committed to serving local clients.

She's like a used car salesman, made promises she couldn't keep. Forgot about conversations so we were always talking and repeating the same thing over and over with zero results. Had to make appointments just to talk on the phone, if she actually did return a call. Never responded to emails and even claimed she didn't have my email. Really? Bs. For 250 an hour go else where.

Horrible follow-up. Was told I would get a follow-up email the following week and I received nothing until a month later after I initiated the conversation. Then she withdrew, citing communication issues... she is giving me 2/3 of my retainer back but what I paid for got me nowhere. Would highly recommend you go elsewhere as I feel I paid for nothing and was forgotten.

She's helping me with my CHIPS case and doing a GREAT JOB at it to!!!

Terri was recommended to us very highly by many individuals for a very critical child custody case. We were eager and excited to work with her upon meeting her. We are young and don’t have eons of money so for us to hire Terri we laid many our resources on the line trusting that she would properly take care of us as her clients. After 6 months we were able to attend court with Terri one time, we repeatedly called and kept in contact with her as we waited for our mediation date which had to be rescheduled twice. I emailed and contacted her and her office many times along the way ensuring she needed nothing further from us until our set date, as I knew her assistant on a more personal basis, I even sent her Facebook messages to ensure we had all our ducks in a row, her assistant deleted those messages from my view as soon as Terri Dropped us. We received legal paperwork from the county in which a legal response was needed, after asking Terri for her help and guidance with the paper work we had to handle it ourselves because she had no response for us.
I hadn’t heard anything from her in a bit so I decided to contact her about our new court date, she refused to answer my or my husband’s questions about our date and stated she had sent us a letter in the mail. This letter was stating she was quitting as our lawyer for lack of communication and filing the paper work, enclosed we received less than a grand of our deposit and a new court date set for two weeks in which we must attend without a lawyer. When we called Terri with our confusion and pointed out the inaccuracies in her reasoning’s she had no answers or explanations, she simply said she quit and goodbye.
Terri Port Wright is NOT for the people, and does not care for her clients. She took our money and quit on us two weeks before we needed her. We spent thousands and she did absolutely nothing but hurt us in the end.
I am disgusted with how anyone can have the complete disregard for someone else’s life. Especially when kids are involved. Not only did she leave us hanging with almost zero notice, she took every penny she could and produced nothing for us in return then had nothing to say for herself.
She gave up on her clients as soon as she was in the running for judge we watched her efforts to help our case go completely out the window.
If you’re looking to throw your money away and be represented by someone with zero passion for their work and clients this is your attorney. All she cares about is the paycheck, not how others’ lives are damaged by her lack of interest.
