Our company, Golden Path Solutions, is a unique company in that we offer a lot of services to a wide range of customers, requiring unique agreements. We have a software solution requiring a license agreement, services we provide employers that act similar to a consulting engagement, and agreements we offer around work commitments and tuition reimbursement. We've been using Severson, Wogsland & Liebl, and specifically Jesse Maier to help with some of these. Jesse's been able to accommodate our needs in a timely way, understands our business and what we're trying to achieve, and understands our customers and what they also will need in terms of contract language. We've been able to move forward at a fast pace due to Jesse and his team's support. I hired an attorney named Luke Heck from sw&l in late 2017 paid him the 10k he asked for and didn’t NOT proceed with the case. He helped to a certain extent. He asked for letters and phone numbers from people we knew. He never used those letters and he never bothered to call them. Also, as an attorney he should’ve told my family that an interpreter was needed he never mentioned or brought one along. Then, in June 2018 I received a phone call from another attorney at this firm saying Luke had left to another firm and could not represent X person anymore. He didn’t even bother to call or email us to let us know he would no longer be there. Ten thousand dollars down the drain. Very upsetting.

Custody battles are a nightmare. I never gone through anything so stressful before and all my life. I'm definitely not an easy client. I call often and my general appearance in court is not easy to defend. Afterward I received a bill for $300 for 30 mins. I paid it, but I was not happy that I had not been informed this would be the charge. Professionals should be upfront about their fees.

Lee was professional, personable, very knowledgable, thorough and extremely organized. The paperwork was endless but Lee found any document we were discussing with a few clicks on his keyboard. He has excellent communication skills and the patience to explain in detail (sometimes more than once) the legal process in a language I could comprehend. Lee continually kept me updated on the case progress, fully explained my options and potential results, the associated costs and always had time to address my concerns. His calm and confident demeanor eased the stress (and there was plenty) I had at having to deal with a legal matter of this magnitude. With Lee's negotiations skills, we were able to settle just before the court date and while I was relieved and happy to have the matter settled, I was slightly disappointed that I would not experience Lee's expert litigation talents in front of a judge and jury. I suspect he would be a gladiator in court. The lawyers and all the support staff at SW&L are well deserving of 5 stars.

I reached out to this law office after the state of North Dakota Child Support office proved to be ineffective and a waste of time in addressing my modification. Alexis took my case, and made me feel like a priority. She was great at communicating and providing me with cost effective methods to approach my situation. I've dealt with many different lawyers and in different states, in the last 8 years, and can say she was by far one of the best I've had in my corner.

Greg Liebl in the Family Law did an awesome job at getting the prenuptial agreement for my mother together in a timely manner. Greg gave advices about the set up of the prenuptial agreement and what we needed to do to make it effective. Due to time constrained, he set up a lawyer for us to represent the other party so that she can go over the prenuptial agreement with the future husband-to-be before he sign the document, which will then make it effective. Greg got the prenuptial agreement done as he promised, and the process was smooth. Jana, his assistant, did a great job of helping us with the documents and answered all of our questions on behalf of Greg as well. I highly recommend them for Family Law. They are a great team!

Greg Liebl is an amazing attorney. Divorce is an emotionally charged event and when things felt like they were going off the rails he pulled me back and help ground me again. He answered every phone call and every email. He was laser focused yet still compassionate and incredibly personable. He listened to my concerns and addressed each one as they came. He never made me feel like I was crazy even though at times I definitely felt like I was. That is just the nature of divorce but having a great attorney was the key to maintaining my sanity through it all. I’m soooo soooo grateful for Greg. Neither I, nor my fiance were able to get a return call within 2 business days. This continued in a phone tag fashion for a week. When I did make contact, it was difficult to communicate, whereas, the attorney I did utilize was able to immediately intuit my needs.

I sought legal help after being in a car accident that was 100% the other person’s fault and suffered injuries (one of which was permanent). I attempted to work out a fair settlement on my own and was not taken seriously by the insurance company. Nathan Severson took my case and fought hard for me. After feeling so desperate and unfairly treated, he treated me and my case with the utmost respect.
He showed kindness, professionalism and determination. It felt like a long process and often times I was overwhelmed emotionally having to recount the accident again and again.
