I saw an ad for an upcoming event they were recruiting "jurors" for. I was beyond excited when I was chosen. I had some issues with the video & audio on my computer, the IT folks at First Court got me set up in no time. Even though I can never discuss the scenario with anyone, it truly was one of the coolest things I have participated in. ALL of the staff associated with First Court were professional and courteous. Special shout out to Melissa for her persistence.

It was a good experience to be a juror with First Court. They were professional, attentive and prompt. They were respective of everyone's time there and were respectful of everyone who was involved in the case and everyone who participated as the jury.

Very professional staff and doing the tasks on a laptop is a good idea. The instant payment after the study is also a plus. The only downside was maybe the spread could've been a bit more extensive. But overall, it was a good experience that I would do again.

I recently partipated in legal fact finding mission for First Court Inc . as a jurist . I was impressed by the the First Court legal team . Comunication between the legal team and the jurists was well handled and the day progressed smoothly . Breaks were provided at great times . Overall a positive experience .

Great company.. The staff was top notch.

Professional and helpful people who responded quickly to my questions. Payment was received shortly after completion of the task. I was made to feel that my responses were valued and important to the lawyers requesting it. I would definitely do this again if I had the opportunity!

I did the online mock jury. It took me about 4 hours as opposed to the 2 hours I was told it would take. That being said, I would do it again. Very interesting getting to hear the lawyers presentations and reading witness statements. Contact people were very helpful throughout the process. Would definitely recommend it to people.

This company is a very reputable company, I served as a juror for 1 day and the experience was outstanding. They provided all meals, the pay was great and the work is meaningfull and interesting. The owner of the company is very nice and his jokes were funny. Would do this again if given the oppurtunity.

I really enjoyed being apart of this trial. They start the day off by serving breakfast also lunch extramly good food. there were drinks and snacks given. took breaks every 90 minutes. The man running this was extramly funny with good jokes. you are also paid very well for this expierence. I would love to do this again. I recently attended one of the mock juries and I felt they treated us great and really did a good job of providing a welcoming and rewarding experience. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Interesting process to go through. Very informative and it’s nice to give the attorneys thoughts live on your thought process. They give lots of breaks. Try to make it fun. Have a few extra bonuses as well.

My only complaint was that it was way way too long. I would rather come back a second day then do almost 12 hours sitting and listening and then deliberating. By the end of the trial everyone was wiped and crabby.

The experience with First Court exceeded my expectations.
It was worth getting up early in the morning for the free food and cash. As a college student, I also appreciated the reasonable compensation. I would advise all chosen jurors to arrive early and get a full night's rest. The day can be mentally taxing.
The situation introduced me to the reality of practicing law and countered the common negative depiction of the judicial system. I gained a deeper respect for the people who work in courtrooms daily after serving on the private jury. My experience helped me understand that cases are much more nuanced and complicated than a "Law and Order" episode. Additionally, deciding on a fair judgment is harder than you would expect.
I recommend being a private juror for First Court for anyone curious about court proceedings, or has a free day to earn money.

This experience was my first participating in a mock trial. I found it very interesting. The process was smooth and hassle free. I would not hesitate to do it again. I believe the feedback the lawyers obtain will be vital in helping them best prepare for the trial.

Surprisingly well organized and astonishingly interesting day. Yes it is a very long day but it is an opportunity to meet a diverse group of people with different views. Not exactly like law and order - more complicated and more nuanced. Great to figure out who is telling the truth or maybe is saying what they believe. If you have the chance to participate, do it.

Very innovative and useful site. It is more convenient and comfortable way of serving jury duty. The process is easy and reliable, they are very thorough at explaining the law. I definitely would recommend and would do it again.

Wow! This is real people. Had a great time participating. This is the cream de la cream on how we should have courts run. It's an all around win for both sides being able to gather data from jurors.

Wait, someone wants to pay me money to talk about what I think about an actually case that has the potential to go to trial? I recently deliberated over my first case as a mock juror and truly enjoyed my experience with First Court. I've never had the opportunity to sit-in on a real jury trial but this one was just as authentic and original as seen on TV. The plaintiff and defense attorneys presents the argument for their clients and we access the case and come up with a unanimous decision. If you're a patient listener and can objectively access both sides of an argument then you'll find the experience exciting like I did. It was a seamless signup process with Lisa and Ryan and they'll pay you immediately afterwards for your time and effort. All in all, it was a nice experience and I would definitely do it again. Hey First Court , call me the next time you need a mock juror in my town.

I found First Court to be great to work with (I was a private juror for them). The communication and the communication speed between them and me was quite good. I've appreciated my experience with First Court and would consider being a private juror for them again.

First Court is an excellent service! I had the chance to be a part of a deliberation which was very interesting. I had the chance to observe a case right from the comfort of my home and answer questions. A day or two later we did a video conference at our location with Ryan, which was VERY helpful. He chimed in whenever we got confused. Everything is pretty much self explanatory. If more cases come up I would definitely love to be a juror on more cases even if they're not in my location

Interesting case. Easy to navigate and complete. Felt good to share my opinion and contribute. Time needed to complete the deliberation could have been a little more accurate.

Get Paid cash for your time to sit and listen to a legal case. You sit and listen as if you are a juror on the case. Listen to the case and afterward deliberate with out jurors. You weigh in and provide your verdict. In addition to cash they also provide meals throughout the day. It's an interesting way to earn so bucks.

A more modern and realistic approach to American justice without all the formalities and a chance to bring a positive prospective to an otherwise dreary task of jury duty.... and actually speedy!!!! What an amazing opportunity to be a part of this process.

First Court is a brilliant system that gives lawyers on opposing sides real-time feedback from carefully screened private jurors in a private trial. As a juror I heard both sides and was able to give feedback both lawyers what I thought about each witness and each argument. If you ever "get called" to serve as a First Court juror jump on it. Your life experience and thoughts matter, and you are well paid for your time and dedication.

I was recruited by First Court to do an online mock jury trial. It was listed as taking anywhere from 75 minutes up to 2 hours. It literally took me 6 1/2 hours to complete. There were also, I think 11 others doing the online jury trial. We each did it at our own convenience to be completed by a certain time. I spoke to the company when I was done and let them know how long it actually took me, considering they had only figured 2 hours. They should have done a test trial themselves beforehand to see how long it takes before putting it out there for a mock jury to do, guessing at the time, and being way off, which was a big inconvenience. A couple of weeks later the ad was again posted on Craigslist, and this time they listed the online jury trial as taking "2 hours give or take." I was appalled they would so blatantly misrepresent the time it takes after getting feedback from the first group, and now actually knowing the amount of time involved. Very unprofessional and disappointed in the company.
