We were extremely stressed out and Debra Morse made the entire process very easy. We were very happy with the results and will always use her in the future. Highly recommend!

Debra Morse was my attorney for a few years and out of every attorney that I have had, she was hands down the best. Although her hourly rate may seem high to people, you pay for what you get. I’ve had attorneys who cost less and let’s just say they weren’t even half as good/efficient as her. Debra and her staff were really great at keeping me updated and staying on top of everything without me even having to ask or worry. She is very knowledgeable in her field of work and will do all that she can to fight for you and what’s right. If you’re looking for a family law attorney, she is your best bet.
She was very rude and non informational, i will never go there again..

Debra represented me in my divorce, which included boiling documents and other complexities one doesn't encounter in a normal case. She helped me through the process, represented me excellently in court, and my divorce was settled without arbitration or any of the final court appearances. She was worth what I paid her because she is knowledgeable, experienced, and on top of what needs to be done. You will not find a better divorce attorney on this planet. She will not disappoint you if you follow the plan she lays out for your case, with your input of course. I was dealing with a spouse with mental health issues and Debra handled it all brilliantly!! Bravo! Bravo!

I retained Debra for what turned out to be a three year high conflict divorce where the odds were stacked against me. Every step of the way Debra was professional, had a plan and handled everything. I was in contact daily with Debra and and always had her full attention. Debra is through! My case quickly jumped to many binders of information. Debra painstakingly gathered evidence and distilled it all down in to exhibits and summaries which were easy to understand with out having to wade through mountains of paperwork. When our judge was reading her findings at the end of trial she specifically commented on how through Debra's documentation and accounting was enabling her to move through the evidence much more efficiently. All this aside Debra cares about her clients and how the painful process of going through a divorce weighs on them. I had complete faith in Debra's handling of my case and highly recommend to anyone in search of representation to consider retaining her for your case.

Debra is exactly what you want when hiring an attorney, and definitely someone you want on your side. She is lightning speed at getting back to you, always keeps you in the know on your case, and puts in so much time and work. She expects a lot from her clients, so be prepared to do your homework. At times it was stressful and seemed like a lot. However, anytime I thought it was excessive, Debra was right, and I'm glad she had me do it. My case had a lot of twists and turns, but Debra knew what she was doing and did and amazing job.

This review is from a person who hired this attorney. Hired attorney An absolute winner 5.0 stars Posted by john June 25, 2017 I would highly recommend Debra's 30 min consultation. I originally approached Debra to mediate. After the constitution I ended up hiring her to represent me in my divorce. It was not an easy process. Debra does expect a lot from her clients, but it's for a good reason. The one thing that really stands out about Debra is at the beginning of every conversation we had the first thing she asked was "how are your girls?" She is a compassionate attorney towards her clients, and a shark in the courtroom at the same time. Being a single dad with 2 teenage daughters and getting primary custody is no small feat in the state of Washington. The ass whooping she dealt in trial was almost jaw dropping. I was virtually unscathed in the final ruling and I owe it all to Debra's experience and professionalism. I would 100% recommend Debra and her assistant to anyone going through the divorce process. Thank you again Debra for all your help.

I hired Debra after calling several lawyers. She answered the phone the first time I called. She is very on point, earnest, and gets things done! My divorce started several years ago and my ex husband stalled it out forever. He showed up to court completely unprepared. Debra was on point with all the orders ready to go even though it wasn't her job to do so as I was the respondent. I have full custody of my children, child support, and alimony. We were able to finalize the divorce last month all because of Debra's hard thoughtful work. Her rapport with the staff and judges at the court house is outstanding.

Debra Morse was my attorney for my divorce and child support case. I had been referred to her by others who had told me she was exceptional. I was not disappointed. She was outstanding. She is tough and keeps you on track. The results of the cases were much better than I had ever expected. She is well respected by judges and other attorneys. In fact some attorneys appear to hate going up against her. She is that good. I highly recommend her.
After reading the other individuals review I would like to add that a divorce is not cheap, rather it is very expensive. Debra Morse charges the same competitive rates as do most attorneys in the Puget Sound area. She is well worth the cost. No one should ever go into a divorce thinking it is an easy process. If the divorce includes child custody or child care then the divorce becomes even more involved and difficult. The other spouse can make things extremely difficult with unreasonable expectations.
My divorce went from May of 2011 until finalized in October of 2012. I was tasked with a lot of what I called "homework" that included many work sheets to fill out in regards to income, assets, and net worth. I had to go through years of tax returns, bills, and bank statements of mine and of my now ex-spouse. My divorce was very time consuming and required my taking time off from work on multiple occasions. I had to attend a required parenting class to get a certificate as did my ex. I was recommended to go through family counseling, which was worth the extra cost since children were involved. I also had to have my residence inspected as did my ex to insure that it meets criteria for having my sons stay with me on the days I have them. Debra Morse represented me in court twice without my being required to be present and twice with me present. There were numerous documents to review with my attorney, who explained each document and answered my questions prior to all the signing and initialing I had to do. She kept me up to date on the progress of the case and the constant changes in court dates. There were a lot of court documents that were time sensitive and required being filed with the court by a specific time. I now have a file box filled to the brim with all the court and case documents from the divorce and another nearly full box from the child support case. In the final divorce settlement my ex and I had to reach a settlement with minimal attorney involvement until a final settlement was made through offer and counter offer. However, every step leading up to the final settlement I was glad that I had a great attorney. She provided excellent counseling, kept me on task, insured I knew what was expected, and made sure that state legal codes were being followed by the opposition.
When my disabled son reached the age of 21 a child support continuance required going back to court, this too took more than a year to finalize in 2016. My ex was demanding nearly four times more than I had been required to pay in child support from the divorce. Once again I was extremely glad to have Debra Morse as my attorney. This case was also very expensive as expected. My son now lives with me and my ex has to pay child support. My son's life has taken a positive turn and he is now doing quite well and works full time.
The outcome of both the divorce and child support case was incredibly much better than I and others had expected. The other attorney was literally sweating in court during the final divorce settlement. I can, without any reservation, highly recommend Debra Morse to anyone who needs a good divorce attorney. Since the final settlement in 2016 I can look back and honestly say that the outcome was much better than I could have hoped for and much better than many in the same situation. I am now retired with my life being back on track, I have a better relationship with my sons, and my retirement pension is essentially preserved.

I tried making this a no star review, but it would not allow me to do this. I am extremely unsatisfied with the legal representation and with the unethical submission of my account, by Debra Morse, over to collections, when a payment was never missed. Debra went over in her estimate to me by almost three times and did not bother to tell me until my bill was just that, almost triple.
I was a single, struggling mother at the time and Debra knew that. I had to cash out my 401K to pay her what I paid her for a retainer. She pressured me into one on ones with my ex, whom there is / was a permanent no contact order against and accepted every call from him, making my bill go higher and higher. We ended up in court once or twice and both times, Debra rarely spoke up. She was all talk in our meetings and then a mouse in court. I ended up going with another attorney who quickly handled the case and for 1/3 of the cost.
I have been making monthly payments to Debra for many years and have more than paid her back, but the interest and her turning me over to collections (despite never missing a payment) have added up over the years. I highly suggest looking for another attorney.
