My wife and I have been members for many years (back when ACLDN was the only self-defense legal help organization around). Thankfully, neither of us has had to avail ourselves of the network's legal services.

Marty, Gila, and the ACLDN board are all caring experts in the field and we trust their integrity and commitment to the network members to provide us with the help when we need it. We encourage all members to make contributions up the defense fund to help the fund to grow. Any contribution helps and we look at it as an investment in our self protection. Thanks, ACLDN!

Hopefully I will.never have to use, but as a retired LE I want nothing less than the best! Why? After the dust settles the A$$H0L35 Family members will attempt to sue, after thier kin tried to kill me or someone else.

Im not real sensitive on this issue, I have seen so much in the 27 years on the street being, on the east coast. I been involved in many, and seen many incidents we were called to protect, using courage making judgement calls in a milli second. Then after the incident, all end up with sleepless nights, some medical issues, and even disabilities from the incident protecting a life or thier own. Then the call comes from IA, or your commanders that you and the City or County are being sued. Now what. ??

Luckily Most have not lost everything because of great union Attorneys. But you go into the deeper parts of the country where the budgets are low, they can't afford the Best. To rely on a origization that is political taking shortcuts. and settling with your life and family life in thier hands is very risky.

To my brothers and sisters in blue, protect your family and yourself from tomorrow...You worked to hard to loose everything for doing your job.. Buy it now, if you do not have the money call them, and make arraignments. PLEASE don't put off, your next shift could be the day....

Sorry for any typos... Retired LE, Not Author

Been a member now for a couple years. Came highly recommended from those in the know when it comes to self defense. Very impressed with this innovative and very professional approach to legal defense. Self defense lawyers everywhere would highly be advised to get on board. Thank you ACLDN!

The Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network is top notch. For reasonable annual dues, you receive a highly educational and informative monthly news letter, and a whole series of DVD videos to aid in understanding the legal ramifications of using defensive lethal force. Plus many other benefits in the event of the justifiable use of lethal force for self defense.
Their Advisory Board consists of some of the top attorneys and defensive firearm instructors from around the country.
I recommend this organization to anyone who carries a firearm and believes in the right to use lethal force for self defense. As the headline states on their home page, "Can You Survive the Legal Aftermath of Self Defense?" This organization can help you do that.

Armed Citizens Legal Defense NetworK

I work with several organizations that promote or protect our self defense rights and training for responsible gun owners. I am particularly proud to be a part of one of these, the ACLDN.

At the SHOT Show in Las Vegas back in January, one of the highlights for me was the gathering of all of the members of the ACLDN Board of Advisors to go over what we’ve accomplished in the past year. Here are some highlights.

The network now has over 10,500 members from literally all over the US. The legal defense fund now has over $650,000.00 in it, a considerable war chest. We added a new bail bond assistance feature, wiring up to $25,000.00 to get a member out of jail on bond, in addition to the instant delivery of cash to an affiliated attorney in your geographic area.

Particularly gratifying to me was the response the network provided to one of my students a few months ago. Our student, John, was forced to shoot an intruder to death in his home. After calling 911, John called the ACLDN. A network attorney was on the scene the same day, and even handled the press interviews on scene, keeping the reporters out of John’s and his family’s faces. The attorney guided John through the post shooting process, and as no charges were filed, even returned the unused money to the ACLDN. I had dinner with John a couple of months after the shooting and he was extremely grateful for the immediate and thorough assistance the network provided.

Highly recommended!

As full-time, professional firearms instructors, we explain and recommend the ACLDN to all of our students.

Education and training is the key to surviving a self-defense assault. The series of educational DVDs and Massad Ayoob’s book: Deadly Force, (included with your membership) is an excellent way to further your education regarding the legal aspects of self-defense. This alone, far outweighs the expense of joining the ACLDN. We always look forward to the monthly, online journal for continued education on self-defense.

Add to that; the financial support of the initial fee deposit paid to your attorney of choice, and the bail assistance and the prospect of additional financial assistance. If you find yourself involved in legal proceedings, resulting from a self-defense situation, the ACLDN team will be invaluable to your defense.

Who would you call if your assault happens while you are away from home? You have access to the ACLDN network of attorneys and legal experts in every state.

Anyone who has a firearm for self-defense should be a member of the ACLDN! Thank you Marty, Gila, Vincent and everyone involved.

Outstanding and Educational. The staff and the Advisory Board go above and beyond all others in regards to supporting their members. Even non-members have access to educational material. I am very confident that, should I ever need their services and resources, they will be there to support me.

Self defense with a firearm is serious business; what happens to you if you have to use your concealed carry or home defense gun against an attacker? That's where the Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network comes in. They exist to help the lawfully armed citizen know the legalities of using their firearm, and then help that person navigate the legal system should they be charged with an unjust prosecution for their defensive actions.

ACLDN was the first organization to offer both the education and the protection in one package, and I think they're still the best. I recommend them to my students and readers because no one else offers the knowledgeable services they do and no one has their track record.

If you want some sort of peace of mind in hopes that you survive the legal aftermath of self-defense I suggest you sign-up with ACLDN. Members have access to attorneys nationwide, guidance from a legal advisory board and legal expenses that are paid after the incident. This organization is also big on education. When you join you receive eight training DVDs and a Free copy of 200+ page book. This provides real value both before and after a self-defense situation where you need legal assistance. I've compared ACLDN against other companies and have found them to be my first choice for offerings and the dues are affordable.

I am really looking forward to seeing you again at the NRA convention. Wish it could be more than once a year...my clients and students really appreciate the 'What Every Gun Owner Needs to Know About Self-Dense Law' pamphlet that Marty wrote, and its really generous of you to provide these to me for free when I need more. The new indoor range here keeps them in a display stand on the counter, and the last batch you sent to me is about half gone already! What I always emphasize in my classes is not only the excellent content, but that when they join up with ACLDN, they have the world famous expertise of Massad Ayoob on their side as well as you and Marty. In a way, its like having surgery: you want the most experienced physician working on you and not someone fresh out of medical school. LOL...have had some of that going on myself lately! I have gotten a lot of good feedback on the legal aspects of using deadly force from my students since I have been starting out with this line: 'The NRA says a gun is a tool of last resort. What do you think the word LAST means?' Of course, I learned all this stuff from hanging around with you guys at the conventions. I won't be there till Sunday this year, but I will work my way over to your booth early so I don't miss you. See you soon...Regards, Jim

Kudos to the Armed Citizen's Legal Defense Network! I personally experienced a use of force situation in which I needed to use Network resources. With a single phone call, my attorney's retainer was paid and Marty Hayes offered his services to consult on my behalf. All of this happened in 15 minutes. That is exceptional service! Due to my attorney's ability and the Network's swift support, no charges were brought against me. Membership is worth every penny!

The ACLDN is one of the best organizations I have had the pleasure of working with. The entire team is helpful, generous and dedicated. I strongly recommend every responsibly armed citizen join not just for the legal protection, but also for the outstanding training provided.

I have been more fortunate than most firearm owners in the training opportunities I have had offered to me. One of the most important things I learned is that shooting skills and tactical skills , while important, are only part of the equation where using firearms for self defense is concerned. It's crucial to know the laws and the legal system and how that system is likely to react to your use of force in defense of your life. The Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network is a crucial part of my self defense plan. The educational materials sent to members are, all on their own, worth the price of membership. But that is only the beginning of the benefits. Top trainers and legal experts are available to members to help construct a defense for your act of self defense. So, too, is the financial assistance, available up front in your time of need, to hire your defensive team.

ACLDN provides a great deal of information (8 DVDs) to members that helps them avoid trouble in the first place.

Having a Legal Defense Fund to back a defense that could require more than $100,000 is comforting. One need only look at the Stiffler shooting in Montana to see how important this can be. This is true even when things just get iffy, as they were in Stiffler.
