Had a hiccup early on with getting a hold of the office, but since being in communication things have been better. Looking forward to my meeting and seeing how things go!

Google said I should leave my business a review, so here it goes.
Jacobsen Law Office is conveniently located near I-5 and Hwy 101. The support staff is always very competent and friendly. Most clients benefit from the scope of practice areas practiced - estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate (transactions and disputes), guardianships, and related business matters. Established in 2012, Jacobsen Law Office will likely be in operation for another 30 years, so clients benefit from a long-term relationship with their attorney.

Ryan's a solid attorney and individual. I really enjoyed working with him on a recent real estate transaction, and he provided great service a few years ago when my wife and I had our estate plans done. What impresses me the most is how he treats everyone like equals - very friendly and not full of himself, although he really is a powerhouse of an attorney.
A few months ago I was planning on selling on of my properties without a realtor, but didn't know where to start. I consider Ryan my go-to attorney after he helped us establish a trust and addressed some old family property issues (which he resolved very quickly). When I met with him about this sale, he gave me a lot of ideas and directions to maximize my position, avoid mistakes, and warned me about a major income tax consequence (capital gains tax for about $50,000) if I didn't sell the property before November 2018.
When I had a buyer, neither of us had a realtor. So we had our attorneys prepare and review the contracts and deed, and we agreed to have Ryan's office (Jacobsen Law Office) as escrow. If I would have used a realtor, their commission would have been over $30,000! I paid less than 1/10th of that for Ryan's services and I was able to get the property sold before I lost my capital gains tax exemption in November. Altogether he saved me $80,000, so here I am to publicly thank Ryan for his awesome work!
One other thing that stood out. When there was a mixup in communications with the buyer's attorney, Ryan didn't hesitate to take responsibility for it and make it right, even though both attorneys should have acknowledged their mistake. I trust a person who is honest when it is inconvenient. Don't you?
Ryan has helped me with several legal matters and has always been such a wonderful lawyer to work with. He helped me and my husband with our estate documents and took the time to make sure we knew our options and the consequences of our decisions. When I was named as the executor of a family member's estate, Ryan (and his staff) helped me through the entire probate process from beginning to end. Ryan has a lot of knowledge about real estate and was able to resolve a problem we had with one of our investment properties. He again explained everything so we knew our rights and options, then wrote a letter that led to a settlement.
I also want to say that my close friend referred me to Ryan's law office after Ryan helped her with a special needs trust and a guardianship. She was very impressed with his work as well, and I now refer my friends and family to Ryan. I just want to thank him for all he has done for us and wish him the best.
