Rick Hoss conducts himself unethically, and unfortunately many others have had the same experience. It would be a mistake to use him.

I never write reviews but after the experience I had with Rick Hoss I knew I had to. He took an extremely difficult situation and approached it with so much respect and fairness. A lot of family healing took place in his office.
His entire staff was helpful, friendly and professional.

Every experience I have had with Rob and Rick has been pleasant, professional and very satisfying. Compared to other attorneys I've had dealings with Rob and Rick show compassion and their general caring for the community and the people that live in it shines through, yes, yes, yes on recommending these attorneys for your legal needs. 5 stars from me and my whole family.

I find Hoss to be the most unethical and self-centered attorney I know. He has been disciplined by the bar association!!! Wow!

I have never come across anyone else who has been disciplined like Mr. Hoss! I am going to file a bar complaint against him for numerous recent unethical acts I've experienced!

He is a disgrace to the practice of law!

I do not recommend anyone putting their trust in him. Based on my repeated experiences with him, he is unbelievably unethical and creates Jerry Springer like drama so he can probably bill more hours to enrich himself.

I think Mr. Hoss is an extremely unethical attorney. I suggest looking elsewhere for an attorney you can trust.0

Rick Hoss represented another family member. Based on my experience, Rick did a disservice to my him. From my perspective, Rick was solely focused on generating fees for himself. In the end, Rick lost so badly. It was so sad but I think Rick kept all of his fees and bought a new BMW with it. I suggest looking elsewhere for legal advice.

I have been following this guy's cases for a while - Mr. Richard Hoss is notorious.. This guy destroyed a local family I know because he antagonized, inflamed and agitated the situation at every opportunity so he could probably bill more time and make more money. He never tried to resolve the issues, only created and perpetuated new ones! Very untrustworthy and deceitful person. I do not recommend him and suggest you stay away!

I don't know enough words to describe Rick Hoss. He's a brilliant attorney that not only fights for his clients from 9-5, he continues looking after their welfare long after a court case.
He's a humanitarian and loves his community. There just isn't a finer human being or a better attorney!!
I posted above review days ago without mentioning all the wonderful people working in the office. Danielle is Rick's paralegal and the hardest working woman in town. She's there anytime to help. These people are my heros!

Someone asked this office a question on google maps if Rick Hoss charges women the same as men. Instead of writing a public response he deleted the question. What is he hiding?

Well, In response, I hope he treats everyone equally but my guess is he charges (percentage of settlement, fixed fee or hourly rate) based on what he thinks will make himself the most money and he has that right.

I heard Rick Hoss charged my neighbor a 40% fee of any settlement she might get. However, my other neighbor who is using a different and likley more ethical attorney told me she is only being charged a 30% fee. That's a HUGE difference!

I'd personally be very skeptical of anything Rick Hoss or his buddy attorney friend STEVE WHITEHOUSE says. They give each other 5 star reviews (LOOK FOR YOURSELF AT THEM GIVING EACH OTHER 5 STAR REVIEWS! Conflict of interest!!). They trade clients and in some cases when the client is paying a hourly fee they find ways to both charge the same client which, in my opinion, unnecessarily racks up the client's bill. They might as well be working together in one office yet they are trying to deceive the public by promoting each other with 5 star reviews without disclosing their close business relationship and how they frequently make money off the same clients.

Based on how dishonest and unethical I think Mr. Rick Hoss is, I'd caution anyone agreeing to pay him his hourly $280 rate or settlement percentage. I can't see how anyone can trust him or his bills.

I rarely give reviews but I want to share I trust a woman attorney from Olympia, WA over Rick Hoss any day. Putting self interests over their own clients needs is simply not honest/ greedy and shouldn't be rewarded in the community for such barbarian male dominate behavior over innocent hardworking women. Once a womanizer always a womanizer.

When it comes to Rick Hoss I'd rather work with a woman attorney with affordable fees who is genuine and authentic. Most importantly understands how woman have been overcharged and treated unfairly in a court of law. Empathy is key here not about bragging concerning community donations from a murky source of wealth.

After being in the business for decades in Shelton Rick Hoss's staff still works out of an old house instead an actual commercial office.

Rick Hoss's fees are expensive compared to other local attorneys in the area. It is a great thing to donate and give back to the community but it is another to unethically gain wealth to obtain the status of giving back to the community.

Rick Hoss's attorney fees are high compared to others in the area. Bonin is a great go to attorney who is fair achieving results for his clients. Bonin even ran for election and garnered votes from the community. My neighbors like Bonin.

Rick is a highly capable and experienced attorney. He is well respected by local attorneys and judges. He has practiced in Shelton for 40 years and the success of his business is a testament to his standing in the community.

The Staff at this office are the best in the county. Rick, one of the attorney's, was just voted by the community as Best Attorney in Mason County, for the 8th time. Rick has done work for me in the past, and every time has been an excellent experience. If I ever need an attorney again, Rick and his staff will be my first call. I wish more businesses operated like his office and staff; professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

This office is one of the most respected law offices in Shelton for many reasons. First of all, the community support and civic volunteerism from all members of this office is truly commendable. The attorneys and their staff can often be seen volunteering at local fundraisers and community benefits. They show a genuine desire to help small businesses in our community succeed. I know many entrepreneurs in Shelton that owe much of their success to the security and advice they've received from Hoss and Wilson-Hoss. I'm also constantly encouraged and inspired by their efforts to empower youth in our community. My experiences with this office over the past ten years have always proven extremely efficient and fair. I am extremely grateful for the professional service they've provided to my family and my business, and I admire their spirit of philanthropy in our little town.

Rick Hoss is part of the "old boy network" of Mason County when he gave me a consult he sounded very "fishy and swarmy" I got bad vibes from him. I sensed he is past his prime and is now washed up and ready to retire.

This team is fantastic. They helped me sort out a complex easement issue. They were fair and helpful. Robb Hoss suggested things I did not even consider.
Very satisfied with communication and service!!

Rob Hoss took time to explain exactly what I could do to stop a neighbor from pouring smoke into my house from an illegal fire pit, what it would probably cost, and the likely outcome. Very clear. Very organized. It's a pity when you can't work things out with simple discussion, especially when you offer to buy your neighbor a new fire pit to be placed in a different location on his property at your expense, but when not - it's good to have an attorney on your side like Rob Hoss. I highly recommend this firm.

Attorneys refuse questions and TRANSPARENCY of Nisqually Pines HOA. Allowing fraudulent switch hitting rules about records AFTER requests for records of transcript Adjudication. Denied own ruling of said Adjudication, libel, and corruption from office manager who presides on committee AND was present at Adjudication as PROPERTY STANDARDS where she HID the record. HOA allowed assault on a minor and continued HARASSMENT from noise & failured management of office manager. They love lies and coersion. Not an honest Attorney at all.

Record hiding at Nisqually Pines Yelm HOA. Slander & libel as coercements to hide facts, such as the HOA was outside of county & state law. Totally worthless attorney firm that ignores privacy & exploits vs upholding laws.
