Best lawyer I’ve ever had.
I would recommend him for anyone frustrated with the legal system.
His staff is top notch..
Highly recommend ! Thank you !
I will recomend William D McCool .
Mr. McCool is a type of lawyer every client wants, and all other lawyers strive to be like. His skill and hard work is surpassed only by his modesty and compassion. Throughout his years as a trial attorney, Attorney McCool has proven himself to be an ardent defender of his client's rights, and a man with a passion for justice. Each and every day he is a living example of what all attorneys should be. Highly compassionate, helpful and attentive to my legal information needs. He was very quick to respond to my inquiries and provided multiple options of solid advice and counse. He was kind, caring, always kept me informed and gave me the advice that I needed to fit my situation. I will be honored to recommend Mr. McCool to family and friends.
I am honored to call him my friend.

El mejor abogado que Walla walla tiene. Me a alludad y explicado cada paso que tomamos. Lo recomiendo para cualquier caso. Son respetoso y amable todo su equipo. Best Lawyer!!!
Communication is one. I felt there was a lack of communication as to the process, what was expected of me, how long the process would take, what was involved, etc. Mr.McCool's assistant Brenda was extremely helpful with relaying messages, but often responses were also inconsistent. Sometimes receiving them other times not. Due to this, I did not feel truly prepared for what the process entailed. Things seemed to be constantly changing or pushed out, and with a lack of communication as to why. I often felt my case was merely being put on the back burner and treated with less importance. I see now his reasoning for this, however being informed during the process would have elevated a lot of the stress associated with the uncertainty of it all. So never be afraid to ask questions.
Client preparation is the other suggestion I would have. Specifically when it came time for me to enter my plea. I was not informed until the day before my court date that I would be remanded into custody until my sentencing date. And I was not in the position to drop everything at a days notice and be remanded to custody for an unspecified amount of time. Luckily Mr.McCool was able to push the date a week out and I was able to take care of my personal affairs. But again, communication and client preparation would have done a great deal. Not only giving me an idea of what to expect but also to elevate the stress caused by the legal process.
I say this not as a critisism; as you can see I rated him highly; I say this to encourage others going through this process to take a more active and assertive role in their legal care. Don't be afraid to ask questions as mundane or trivial as they may seem. If you have a question, ask it. And if they can't give you an answer, have them point you to someone who can. You need to take an active role in this process. You'll be much more satisfied and less stressed if you feel you know what's going on and what's going to happen.
