Great attorney

Avoid this lawyer for many reasons:
1. He is hard to get a hold of. His follow ups are scant. In one occasion he just forgot to tell me that a deposition was rescheduled, basically wasted a day of my time. It feels like the degree of his arrogance makes you feel inferior.
2. He is expensive for no good reason.
3. He pretends he knows more than he is capable of handling. He took my case where he had very little to no expertise in handling, which resulted in a dead end in negotiations, over $13000 in his fees and wasted time and money. I transferred my case to a capable lawyer who handled the case very professionally and expertly.Jesse never told me my case was not his forte or area of expertise. Half way through my case he wasn't even quite familiar with my case. Only after mediation he started to get a grasp of the facts of my case and came to the conclusion that this case may not his winning bid, a fact that an expert lawyer can tell from initial evidence.
4. In my mediation, the mediator asked him if he had filed for a certain solution to my case, which should have been obvious to someone with adequate expertise. 1 year into my case, he just simply answered he didn't but he intended to do it! How convenient for him who takes the money but no responsibility!
5. After the initial phase of spending over $13000, he just kept asking for a bigger retainer even without answering some basic questions from me. And then he billed me for these irrelevant conversations about asking for retainer and that he wouldn't take any other step without giving him a big retainer! If that's not greed, then what is it?
It seems like this lawyer cares about his own pocket first and foremost, rather than your best interest. Get yourself someone else with good expertise and spare yourself headache and wasted money and time.
