Darrel Ammons is not very good about communicating with his clients and takes his time doing things. So if you're okay with your situation getting worse, while he takes his time with things, hire him. If you want a lawyer that takes the extra measures to do what you pay him to do and answers your calls and let's you know what's going on, I suggest you don't hire him. I've waited for 4 weeks for something to be done about stolen property of my deceased father and nothing has came of it. Also, he refused to help me after making me wait over a month for him to get ahold of me and claimed that I didn't tell him information that he WAS told. His secretary did not do her job and tell him I was leaving voicemails and what they said. The secretary is also very rude! Absolutely nothing came of any of this. He charged me nearly $700 for absolutely nothing but a piece of paper that couldn't do anything for me and then refused to help me further. Don't waste your time or money here, they're absolutely terrible.
