If you are looking for a guardian ad litem, avoid her like the plague! She is the laziest professional I have ever dealt with. She admitted in court, under oath, that she never even did a basic investigation in our case yet charged tens of thousands of dollars to produce a report that was completely based on fiction. She made a decision in our case after speaking with my ex-wife alone and testified against me in court without ever having spoken to me. She then maintained her fallacious opinions throughout the entire duration of our almost three year case. When the opportunity to came to gather evidence from witnesses that contradicted her preconceived notions she just ignored it. This woman has allowed my ex-wife to completely alienate my oldest daughter from me and drive a significant wedge between me and my younger children. She lied to the court in her report by omitting very important information given to her by my children's counselors. She further lied about her billable hours at one time saying she took hours to interview my children when I had been told she was oy there for a few minutes. If you are looking for a GAL that is fair, honest, will actually do what is best for the children, and not collude with one side, avoid this woman!

I find it interesting that my ex-wife and someone else who was not a party to the case are contradicting Armanda's own testimony that she lied in this case and didn't do a basic investigation. Those are HER words, not mine. This woman is a despicable excuse for a GAL. In fact her reputation is NOT stellar amongst her peers, she is regarded as lazy. I think that my professional reputation of being honest and upright speaks for itself contrary to those two that desire to slander me. I find it interesting that the scathing opinion of me is "anonymous" clearly written by someone who dare not expose themselves to legal liability for their outright slander. And now after calling out the "anonymous" comment, it has suddenly disappeared.

Expensive but extremely talented!

Anyone who reads the review posted by Dr. Bryan Lundquist can undoubtedly surmise that he is someone retaliating to attorney Day because he did not get the legal outcome that he felt he deserved. The truth is that attorney Armanda B. Day not only talked to our children in each of our homes and in our presence, but she talked to them at school and in her office. I think she spoke to our children 7 times in person and this does not include the times that she corresponded with my two older children personally when they emailed her with their concerns. My children felt comfortable talking to Armanda and that she was a safe person that they could confide in. My children have expressed to me how thankful they are that Armanda actually listened to what they had to say. Armanda went above and beyond to talk to people in my children's lives and get to the truth of what had been going on. She did so without guarantee of compensation for her time invested. Armanda endured this long and difficult case with tenacity in advocating for my children which was her designated role and I will always be grateful for her determination to discover and express the truth in court on behalf of my children.
