Very knowledgeable and intelligent attorneys

Three years ago, I had an issue with a cable company where they were demanding about 2500 dollars in restitution. This was bogus and John went to work on my behalf and as a result the company agreed to pay me 800 dollars to to me settle the complaint. He did an wonderful job for me in this regard.

However, my relationship with John took a turn for the worse, several months ago, I had a legal issue and called and secured an appointment with Mr. John Steed to visit his office. At the last moment, however, he notified me to decline the meeting stating he had a conflict. I then had to find other console to proceeded. This was on short notice and expensive.

I now require legal advice on another matter and again and had an appointment for a Tuesday afternoon. The matter is quite pressing. On Saturday, I got a message that he needed to reschedule my appointment as he needed to be in Bangor that day and could I wait until the end of the month. On Sunday, I called his home and he was quite gracious, offering to meet with me on the Sunday afternoon at my home. First, however, he needed to consult with a family member and he would call later in the day.

I was, therefor, anchored to my home, waiting for a call that never was received. I view this as inconsiderate to me and wish John be more understanding of his client’s needs in the future.

I've only worked briefly with Ellen but my uncle utterly depends on her. She's very knowledgeable and helpful.
