Joe and his team know how to get the job done. Joe is patient, intelligent and reasonable. If you have any legal obligations, Joe and his team are by far #1 in the area. Very well spoken and experienced in the court of law. Very much recommend Joe Baldacci.

When I first considered moving into 6 State I googled the other occupants of the building and read their reviews. One of the reviews that stuck out to me was written by Joe Baldacci for an attorney at another firm rather than for him. It was about how that attorney had shared an electronic filing resource with them while they were still in the approval process.
The fact that he took the time to praise a colleague about their collegiality publicly really stuck out to me. I eventually learned first hand that Jo doesn't just praise others for that quality but lives it himself as well.
After I moved into the building I got in a bit of a jam one night. The fax number I was given by a government employee to transmit a document to turned out to be incorrect despite verifying it multiple times with them.
That document had to be postmarked or received by that day and in addition to it being 5:00 pm I didn't have any envelopes large enough for a stack of paper that large.
I walked down the hall seeing if I could get an envelope from his office. Despite wandering into his office and interrupting him, while he was on the phone at 5:10 pm*, Joe graciously started personally digging through his office supplies and found a priority mail envelope for me.
While I can't attest to his skills as an attorney, having never worked directly with him nor being an attorney myself, I can say that he is willing to go out of his way to help people in a jam even when there is nothing in it for him.
That kind of ethic is why I moved back to Maine after college and it is one of the things I love about this state.
