Miles Frieden was a beacon of hope to me during a difficult time when my options appeared limited and the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution seemed nearly impossible. Not only was he able to defend me from an unjust accusation, his candid, calm, and empathetic demeanor offered emotional succor to myself and those I care about most. I am eternally grateful for his services and I recommend Mr. Frieden to anyone without any reservation.

Miles took care of our real estate closing and we were very happy that we asked him to represent our interests. He performs his services with a fantastic combination of professionalism, experience, knowledge, promptness, integrity, and kindness. He facilitated the closing process with a bit of ceremony, befitting the momentous occasion of our first real estate purchase! And we felt confident in his advice, support, and counsel throughout the process. Would seek his services again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Miles!

Miles Contacted me after he admittedly made a $20,000 error on buyers behalf purchasing my elderly moms home. After not providing appropriate or requested documentation that the funds should be returned to him we still agreed to return the funds less his agreed cover of expenses. When he did not agree to our costs, he started contacting family members that had no direct contact with the transaction. My family attested to my honorable and respectable position in protecting my moms assets. Still he has contacted Elder Services claiming that my mother is being stolen from. My mother with dementia is now very upset and confused. Abuse of the elderly and harassment of the elderly and family members and defamation of character are not things one looks for in legal council

Miles represents the estate of a property adjacent to our vacation home in Key West. A large tree dropped a branch onto our fence causing some small amount of damage. Miles arranged for repair of the fence and it was taken care of promptly, but I was somewhat taken aback when he objected to paying for our property manager's time for providing access to our property to allow for the repair. He cited his fiduciary responsibility to the estate. The home is now for sale for over half a million dollars and he is shocked that I would think that the estate should pay the $30 to the property manager who spent her time to allow repair caused by a tree on the property of the estate. That $30 comes out of my pocket. It's not a lot of money, but his intransigence about the issue shocked me. Why would he expect that I should have to pay for any of the costs arising from damage caused by his client. And why should he expect that our manager should provide her service at no cost? I'm disappointed in Mr. Frieden. I have no doubt that he is a very nice man and very conscientious at his profession, but I feel that it was wrong of him to dismiss the time of our property manager as being unimportant.

Miles handled the closing for a land purchase my wife and I just made. Even though he was going away for a vacation, Miles was able to constantly keep in touch and answer all our questions. After returning to Maine, Miles quickly finished the title search and was able to draw up all our papers in time for our closing.

At the closing, Miles was charming and professional. He made all present feel comfortable, patiently listened to all our stories (which often kept him from proceeding with his agenda), and invited us to participate in the symbolic handing over of the deed from the seller to us. This was the perfect ending to a closing our realtor described as the best one she had ever been to (and she has been to hundreds!).

Directly after the closing Miles went to the bank to deposit all associated payments, which I'm sure our seller appreciated, and then to the Registry of Deeds to fill-out the papers making our purchase official. We really were impressed by how quickly Miles made this happen!

I could not imagine having a more friendly, efficient, professional attorney, and would recommend without hesitation hiring Miles D. Frieden for your attorney! We will certainly hire him again should the need arise.

Miles recently did a new Will for me including all the documents one should have in preparation for end of life or illness. He made it much easier than I anticipated. He has excellent suggestions without being pushy and all to MY benefit.

A month or so later with the help of his expertise in Real Estate he wrote a Purchase and Sale Agreement for me which the buyer accepted easily. He is also helping with the sale of my present home. He is professional but at the same time pleasant and "easy going." I like working with him and I find his rates to be very reasonable in comparison to some others. I highly recommend him
