As a non-party to a divorce that this firm was litigating, I had a negative experience with one of the lawyers in this firm. I was served a subpoena to produce evidence related to the couple's business. The subpoena was not enforced after my lawyer replied pointing out the flagrant rule violations -- primarily undue burden, due to the ridiculously short timeframe to produce the requested documentation (3 days, 2 of which were weekend) & the extreme breadth of documentation requested. This action bordered on a code of ethics violation. This lawyer wasted their client's money in pursuing this flawed subpoena. I'm sure they are a nice person, but in this situation I think they showed a significant lapse of professionalism & judgement.
