extremely disappointing experience

Dena Horvath briefly represented me in a divorce which blindsided me in which my 3 year old child was taken from me. In the first week of her service Ms. Horvath lost her temper with me over the phone and began to curse at me. I would not tolerate that type of unprofessional behavior from someone paid to represent my best interest. All I wanted was equal rights to my child in a case where not even temporary custody had been established yet. The best Ms. Horvath did for me was to get a single weekend visitation even though my wife had no more legal rights to our child then I did. I strongly feel she did not adequately advocate for me or my child. I terminated her services and sought representation elsewhere. I posted an initial review that Ms. Horvath deemed as defamatory and threatened me with a law suit. At the point I posted that initial review, Ms. Horvath had not returned my retainer fee, minus her services to that point. She has in fact returned a portion of my funds since that time. I still am extremely unsatisfied with her services and would encourage anybody else to do their research before obtaining Ms Horvath's services.

The first time I saw Craig in action was during mediation with my ex-husband and his attorney. I was broken, weak, anxious, tired, emotional and unarmed.

And I am here to tell you, if you need to see him personally, he will ALWAYS make time for you!

Beware of this "House of Hens" claiming to be in the Legal business. Elhart will migrate to the case with the most money at stake and leave you behind as he did my prior wife. In fact she has went on to get another Lawyer to clean up and finish the job his wife (offfice Mgr.) and female assistants couldn't do. So if your spouse chooses this "Clown" then you yourself can feel comfortable. He saves all his work until the last minute and therefore always unprepared. My counsel had to clean up the final agreeement just before entering court (good thing he brought along a correct set of copies) as they (who were responsible) couldn't get it right just prior to entering court! even after corrections were given to them prior. Traverse City you have a lot of good choices in individuals and even better real Firms. I can't even imagine them trying a real leagal matter outside of Divorce.
