I would not recommend Mike Lauterbach. Putting together your will is stressful and makes you think of things you never want to think of so it's important to find someone you trust. He did my will and my boyfriend's will and charged me twice as much as my boyfriend. Our wills were basically the same template and if anything mine was easier as I did not have to include minors. Mike's explanation for the pricing difference was that my boyfriend was eligible for a 'promotion' that I was not eligible for. However, my boyfriend knew nothing of this promotion. I believe my situation is what led to the price difference. I am a relatively young single woman, with considerable assets and I have terminal cancer. So, I needed this will more than most and I believe I was take advantage of. Finding a lawyer you trust is critical when determining how the end of your life will be handled and I would not recommend Mike for the job.

He's honest, professional, and straight forward and he doesn't empty your bank account when he sends you the bill!! Mike has done a significant amount of legal work for myself and my company and we have always been extremely happy with the results. We recently had Mike Lautuerbach structure our estate plan for us. We went in not really sure what to expect for our first time in an attorneys office. It was a very casual and easy process. He made everything very easy and straight forward being thorough when needed but keeping to the point as much as possible. Mike made recommendations when we asked but was pushy in no way. This was way easier than we expected and his fee was discussed up front. When we got the bill there was no surprise either. Anybody looking to set up an estate or trust should definitely use Mike Lauterbach!
