Under a very stressful situation I contacted Adam Johnson on the advise of another attorney who said that Adam would represent me well and at a reasonable price. He was absolutely correct. I called Adam on a Saturday as he was driving with his family but he went to work right away to help me. He was diligent, resourceful, and very patient. I would highly recommend him to represent you for whatever legal needs you have.

I was in an extremely difficult position with a criminal issue and called several attorneys in the MSP area for consultations. Several lawyers instructed me that my position was hopeless and one even stated that the best thing I could was to turn myself in, rely on a public defender, and that I should expect to lose my stay of adjudication, which would have resulted in a dismissal of charges had I not violated probation. I then spoke to Adam Johnson, who agreed to take my case despite the position I was in. Because of his efforts, the state lowered their recommended sentence from one year to 90 days (and put the new recommendation in writing) and I found the courage to turn myself in, which I never would have been able to do without all of the preparatory work he had done, including the filing of motions and advocating for me with the prosecuting office and probation.

At my court hearing, the judge reinstated my stay of adjudication and issued me a lower jail sentence than probation’s recommendation. I was expecting to receive a conviction and to serve at least a 90 day jail sentence. I attribute much of this positive result to Adam’s efforts (though he humbly refused to take credit), both before I turned myself in and his counsel at the hearing. After encountering yet another problem involving a recalcitrant court administrator, Adam continued to assist me until my charge was finally dismissed, again filing several letters and motions until the matter was resolved. My 3.5 year waking nightmare was finally over.

Adam responded quickly to all my emails and phone calls. I highly recommend him for assistance with any criminal matter. Thanks to him, I no longer have to live in the shadows and have the opportunity to pursue my career ambitions.

David Lundgren is a knowledgeable professional that successfully advocated for me in court to best provide me a future after I made a mistake. I hired David after I was involved in a drunk driving incident. I was guilty of the offense, and was looking for assistance in advocating for my cause in court. I was in college at the time, and was looking for this to have little impact on my pursuit of an education. My case was special in that when I was in the hospital I denied to have a blood test performed by an officer while I was inebriated. David, through building a detailed case with me and taking control of our message in court, was able to provide me with the best resolution. I was looking at a substantial fine in the thousands, time in prison, and measures taken against my driving license. These charges would have substantially affected my life in a negative manner, and I would have lost my job and would not have completed school if I had gone to jail. Yesterday Dave Lundgren successfully provided defense in a case filed against me and the case was dismissed. I can not say enough good things about Dave. With calm, certainty, compassion, and confidence he guided me through one of the most stressful periods of my life. He met with me in his office in preparation for each court appearance, carefully explaining to me the mechanics of the trial and providing excellent guidance in how to offer testimony and conduct myself in the court room. He was diligent in following up all aspects of the trial and showed good judgment in paring down and providing good foundation to the narrative that most clearly demonstrated the truth and eventually led to the order being vacated. Dave responded quickly to my questions and concerns (which were many!). He always encouraged me to be in touch should I have questions, and always kept true to his promise to respond as soon as he was able. Dave and his partner Adam are young, which might lead clients to hesitate in engaging them. However, I can certify that Dave's savvy and strategic thinking belie his young age. He is driven to succeed and certainly in my case, was much better prepared, demonstrated better strategic thinking, and had prepared me far better than the petitioner's lawyer, who by comparison seemed somewhat indifferent and amateurish. I would encourage any prospective client to engage Dave to be on your side and offer my sympathies to any attorney that ends up facing him in court!
Finally, in my case, Dave offered his services as a single fee rather than an hourly fee. While not inexpensive, this turned out to be an excellent model as I never need to be thinking about a ticking clock when I contacted him--and Dave was more than generous with his time--which in itself is a good business model as I think it helped us in being successful.
