I've known Steven and the whole family for 20 plus years I've used him numerous times and I've always come out happy I haven't been in trouble in over 10 years I had to retain him recently I walk in and see him and his two kids and they're all about business it's a good family oriented business. Stephen Wohr is one of the best criminal lawyers in the state of Texas, I have referred him to anyone that had any type of legal issue, he has really done a great job for me.

I thought this was one of the only good, honest attorneys in Denton. I actually considered him decent. To my disappointment I have been proven completely wrong. I hired Mr Wohr for the specific purpose of filing suit in a motorcycle accident I was involved in. I asked him price since I was not willing to pay contingency for a case that I had already negotiated policy limits without an attorney. I paid the agreed fee expecting him to file suit and do the things he said he would do for the fee. Then... Radio Silence. Wouldnt return my call or take my appointments. Weeks went by and finally I just waited till I knew he was in his office and I demanded to see him. It was at this point he then attempted to convince me that taking the policy limits were my best option and that nothing was going to happen anyway if I filed suit and such and so on. STEVEN WOHR I HIRED YOU TO COMPEL NOT TO NEGOTIATE OR TO DO ANYTHING ELSE BUT WHAT WE AGREED. This is unacceptable and the more I think about how he changed his tune and purposely wasted my time it leads me to believe there was some type of... arrangement made. Do I have proof of anything? No I do not. Do I suspect something? Yes I do. As a Local Guide for Google I have to recommend you pass Mr Wohr by and seek counsel elsewhere.

HORRIBLE!! Doesn't return phone calls, sends someone else to do his work. Doesn't show up to court on time, shows up looking like he drank a bottle of tequila the night before, and has an attitude. Not here to help, looks for easy cases, anything hard is out of his league. Definitely not happy.
