Very unfair judge and he is partial to the dad regardless of its in the best interest of the kids or not, the lawyer for the other party in my case fought long and hard to keep our case under him for that very reason.

I observed a trial in Judge Burgess’s court. I was extremely impressed. He seems to be a master of upholding the letter and spirit of the law, giving both sides exactly what truth and justice owed them. He was very patient and courteous, and didn’t hesitate to slow down to think through his decisions, though he tried to avoid inconveniencing anyone when he could help it. He made me feel good about our justice system.

I have a friend who works in a government clerk’s office, and he says Judge Burgess must be a very nice man, given that the clerk staff always sends Burgess any documents they need a judge to sign because he always signs and returns them promptly.

This judge awarded the kids mother for once custody of both kids, and she's mentally psychotic, and lives with a convicted child abuser!! He ignores facts, and evidence!! He doesn't have a heart!! Everyone has been screaming for his head because he always rules in favor of the father! Well this is one time we needed him to rule in favor of the father because the mother is crazy!! THIS JUDGE IS NOT FAIR!!
