This lawyer missed the court, never called back. Never picks up the phone. I ended up paying 1200$ ( for stupid equipment violation) + 200 or something $ for him. If I just pay the ticket, that would be 300$. Stay away from this guy.

Did not even attempt to get my husband's ticket dismissed before accepting Deferred Adjudication and Defensive Driving.

He was retained on February 13th due to the fact we were unable to secure a copy of the crash report from the police department so could not reasonably form a pro-se defense (represent himself).

After explaining the situation to Mr Tkach, we were assured that he understood the pointless and frivolous tickets that the City of Arlington issued and that it would be handled.

Today, we were informed that it wasn't dismissed and that my husband would have to pay a fine ($40 off the original fine - WOW!) and take defensive driving, on top of having paid $75 for this terrible defense.

We've already filed a formal grievance with the State Bar of Texas and suggest that anyone else suffering from this poor representation does so as well. It won't change the outcome of your case, but it will stop others being abused and misrepresented.

If directed by tvc or wanting to handle a traffic citation stay away! Handle it yourself or hire another firm! I've used them 3 times and in every time all they offer is to reduce the balance plead guilty or for them to be fired and hire another firm to go to trial with completely useless and waste of money even when I had evidence to prove my innocence they wouldnt do anything for me! Apparently I paid alot of money so they wouldnt show up to court. Also on my first time with them they never called the court so I had a warrant for my arrest. Be aware!

Horrible service. Didn't get the ticket dismissed eventhough my record was good. Paid 500 bucks for them to do absolutely nothing. My ticket was originally that was original 216 is now 460.... they kept pushing out the pretrial as well. I'll never use them again.

AVOID this attorney unless you like deceptive businesses. I paid $400 for them to go to court and negotiate nothing. I received a Deferred Adjudication and need to pay $1000 in 45 days. I could have done that and probably better. I repeatedly had to send the same documents to them for reasons unknown, I'm assuming they lost them or just too lazy to look at the previous emails.

This is a very unprofessional law firm the staff are very rude we spoke to someone who’s going by Claudia Perez who text my husband on a Sunday stating some paperwork needs to be signed and she swears that she sent the paperwork for my husband to sign on the 13 of December neither me or my husband received any paperwork to sign the only paperwork we received from them was the receipt on the 13th were we paid them 300$ so I tell this person on the phone to resend the paperwork and we will sign it upon looking at the paperwork all the paperwork was blank they wanted my husband to sign first so they can put whatever they want in the blank spaces including where the money signs are Nono Honey we don’t sign blank forms over here for you to pull the same BS that everyone else is complaining about it’s mighty ironic how everyone with a bad review on them have the same complaint don’t give these people your money also he uses his employees to give him 5 stars

I have worked with Todd for many years on many claims. He is awesome and very down to earth humble guy. Todd makes sure that your comfortable and well taken care of.

Staff is very misleading, do NOT pay them the $100 to "fight" your traffic ticket. I had no other driving violations and was "sold" that they would negotiate my fine down, instead I got the full fine and paid them $100. Criminal! Their response when I called to confront them was that I was granted deferred adjudication because of their representation. But I was already given that option by the court directly????? Con Artists

Staff is rude and inept. I should have handled this speeding ticket myself. I paid this firm to represent me in court over a year ago to simply request deferred adjudication of my speeding ticket; pretty standard stuff. Turns out this firm did not submit my acceptance offer to the court in time AND failed to tell me. It wasn't until I got a letter in the mail from the city court that I realize that I owed more money than the law firm had stated, and I lost out on my plea deal due to their lack of attention to detail. As a result, a warrant was issued in my name. Ridiculous! When I followed up with the firm and requested to speak directly with the lawyer representing me, they refused. I basically paid them to cause me headache for a year. If they can't handle a simple speeding ticket, I can't imagine trusting them with anything larger!

Due to total lack of communication despite me calling and leaving notes with his receptionist for him to contact me, I missed a court date that I was waiting on for 3 years, and found out the hard way that I had a warrant out. THANKS.

Serious lack of communication. I paid them 300 plus dollars for a couple of traffic violations. They could NOT tell the difference between deferred or defense driving class. I WAS TOLD TO take a defense driving class to qualify for deferred. I then went to the court house myself and even the clerks were laughing at those remarks. Could not get a lawyer to talk to you. Only the lady that answers the phone tried to answer your questions, but obviously she does not know the law very well. Highly recommended to stay away from this business.

Pls read the reviews. All the 5 star reviews sound just like his "put on hold" speech when u call so i am sure they are all fake employee ratings. Everyone that goes here will at best get a bad deal or at worst, robbed and stressed 10x as much as u would have if u had went in yourself. He will take ur money and not do nothing. Yes his website has all the nice design but that is what ur paying for. You are payin for all flash and no substance. He does not go to court for u. I had a non moving violation I am a cdl holder and paid 150 to this attorney for a 120dollar parking ticket gave him my logs as proof that I did not park there and still had to pay 120 on the parking ticket which was no CSA points to begin with . He did nothing except take my money a fighting lawyer I think not

Fast, Effective, and Timely! If you're like me, when you get a ticket, you just need it to go away - fast. You should contact Todd Tkach's office and let his qualified team take care of the problem. I contacted him, sent him the information, and was able to rest easy in the knowledge that my problem was being taken care of. I will turn to Todd Tkach's office for all future ticket issues (not that I intend to get more tickets:). The best part of my experience with Todd Tkach's legal services was that I did not waste my time or money trying to contact and argue with the municipal court.

They suck. Seriously. I had him handle a case for me... He missed the first court date, a warrant got issued and I was notified, when I called the office they were so lost.Then when he was supposed to go BACK to court after I had gotten the warrant lifted and I was asked to pay more money...I ended up working out a deal for myself with the courts because of him failing to do so. To top it all off, I requested a refund because he literally did NOTHING for me and I am still yet to receive it. I have gotten the run around for like 8 months about this refund. I am actually having to drive to his office to go and get it because I don't trust them to send it to me. SMH

ok so i got a ticket.... called them paid the fee.... went to court today cause city of carrollton requires you to show up with the attorney....well i show up and wait along with 40-50 other people to find out that the attorney is not even from tkack law firm but another firm that helps them...... the offer i got from the court was what i could of done on my own with exception it was either deferred or plead guilty and pay fine..... i had attorney request defensive driving which the court agreed to???? what did i pay these people for again???? they didnt make an attempt to have dismissed...its like they go in with idea that its the courts choice or request trial and pay them $500.00??? i dont think so this was the most regretting experience and i would not pay them another cent.....

Mr.Tkach is an excellent attorney! I found him to be very aggressive when it came to the criminal and DWI case work. I also know that he is an excellent personal injury lawyer with vast experience as it relates to serious car, truck and on the job injuries. Call them today if you want an excellent lawyer!

Only reason I gave 1 star was cause you can't give zero. I hired these guys and they didn't even attempt to get the ticket dismissed. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!! WASTE OF MONEY! Just take defensive driving instead.
