I was so excited to file with Allmand on 1/30/20. I paid $412 of the $825 in good faith. The paralegal was nice, (she read through everything really fast so i missed the refund clause). Insert red mad face. Three days later I decided not to follow through with the BK and I requested in writing a refund. It's been three weeks and have heard nothing. I'm told the system has been down for over a week now. I have submitted in writing 3-4 times a refund request. Other reviews say they pay to delete negavtive reviews so not sure if people will see this.

My recommendaton is to not pay them any fee up front because if you have a change of heart you will NEVER SEE A REFUND.

The only thing I did was go in for a free consutation, nothing filed, no credit pulled NOTHING and they have yet to refund me the portion of the fee I paid towards the attorney fee. This has left a bad taste in my mouth and if i decide to file later i will not use the unless i receive my full refund.

I called at the beginning of October inquiring information. I had never done this before so I really wasn’t sure what questions to even ask them. After discussing a few things, I told them I was having car issues so a phone interview would be the only way to have my consultant. They scheduled a phone consultation but then I ended calling them an hour and a half after my set appointment. During my consultation, the lady said she would email over a retainer. I needed to read through, sign it and email it back. Being busy during the week, I hadn’t had time to do so. After reading through, there were sections that were supposed to be filled out by the company and never were. During my days, I was getting multiple calls from them during the day asking about it. I let them know that I was still dealing with car issues so I didn’t was to commit to this until I had a reliable vehicle so ensure I wouldn’t miss appointments. I was already having a bad feeling about this company by just talking to a few people there. Three weeks after this was at discussed, I get a call at work from them saying they tried to run my credit card for payment but it didn’t go through and asked how I wanted to handle it. I said that was strange because I never gave you my card info and asked what card they were attempting to use. Avoiding the question, Alina said oh I see here you set up and payment for 10/22 to be paid in cash. I said definitely not! I specifically told you I was wanting to move forward with using your company but I was not ready to do so until I had a vehicle. Why would I set up an appointment with no way to get there?! I said I do not feel comfortable with this company and I will not being using you. She said okay did you fill out the retainer. I said no because it was email over 7 times incorrectly. I said I’ve given no personal information or a method of payment. I will not be using you and to remove me from the list. I’m glad I went with my instinct otherwise I’d be paying for a service that wasn’t agreed to and payment dates that are set without consent.

The people here are so rude and not considerate on what you’re going through. I decided to work with them and give them a chance because of the great reviews I read. Then one lawyer will told me my monthly payment for chap 13 is $250. The 3 days later another lawyer told me a higher payment of $680 a month. This was after I filed. Then I got a letter in the mail from Allmand with the final payment amount and it’s 4x the amount I initially discussed with them $3475.25 a month. I was livid I had to dismiss my entire case. If I was able to pay that amount why would I be filing bankruptcy in the first place.

Love that they have flexible hours for late afternoon or Saturday appointments. Staff was all kind. Worked with Richard Ramirez and he helped me out and did a great job of providing me details on my options. In addition there was a mix up with locations for my signing but he made sure I was still taken care of that day.

First, let me say this. My initial contact with Allmond Law Firm,my anxiety level was a 7. I have been served with an eviction court specific date to show up,to begin the eviction process. To say that I have fallen on hard times,is futile. However,I made the conscious effort to remain positive upon making the initial call after receiving a letter from your firm regarding "EVICTION" I called on a Monday morning spoke to an angel by the name of Whitney, talk about emphathy,she went beyond,calming, assuring and reassuring that she understood. Believe me, it was not necessarily what she said! I have had 2 encounters with Whitney. I have never been so excited to file for bankruptcy until now. Knowing that it will all work out for the GOOD!

Just wanted to leave a pleasant comment regarding Allmand Law Firm. It was my first time going through Bankruptcy and just the guidance and structure they have in order to get you back on track with you finances and just life in general was very inspiring and encouraging. I must say they made it affordable for me to make payments each month. They're also so understanding when it comes to financial hardships for instance there were two months I wasn't able to make my full payment. They were sincere and helpful beyond measure.

Reed Allmand which is ALLMAND LAW and his Sr Attorney Jim Morrison. Do NOT I repeat DO Not go to this firm they are scammers. Jim Morrison is flat out rude no respect for the client and has put me in situation twice to pay more money which is rip off/robbery in my face and don’t feel bad by doing so. He don’t want you to ask questions to educate or re-educate yourself on your case. Today he refused to give clarity. I asked questions based on information that I was provided yesterday and said “ you're wasting my time” meaning him. I still have no resolve. He’s forgetting who employs him and it’s the clients, no clients, no pay. They don’t want to talk they want you to email and then they respond after hours. They are a firm of liars and do NOT communicate with clients until you get furious. If this is your option to resolve debt find a company worthy of you money and willingness to work with their clients and not just sending letters demanding more money or else. I rather be dismissed then have to be bitten twice by the same scamming snakes while they get richer and I become bankruptcy poor. There are other avenues that’s out here that can help but I’m warning you so you will not be in a terrible situation do not go here it’s a nightmare that you don’t have to have! This is my truth and opinion of this company and I’m sticking to it as well as my belief of them being scammers.

Do not go to this these lawyers they are scammers I'm a Texas veteran and my wife went in there for a bankruptcy and her credit scores at 705 and they could we come to find out her banquet hurt her credit was good and now they took $2,000 from us and they won't give it back to us and they didn't file note and they didn't do not run no bankruptcy for us.
P.s. they also delete all their bad reviews so makes it look like they're they're doing the right thing there scammers

I went to file a bankruptcy in late March. Was told they couldn’t do it for less than $850. The guy I had a meeting with was fairly rude and acted like he was so much better than me. I asked if they could start it for $500, and he just smiled and said, if it was my law firm I wouldn’t do it, but I’ll ask. Then was back in less than a minute and said. No we won’t do it for anything less than $850. I said ok and was getting ready to leave and he says...is that my pen? Are you trying to take my pen? I said, I brought it and he said, are you sure you’re not stealing my pen. It was a $1 Uni Ball pen that I brought and he accused me of trying to steal?? How hard up for money are y’all? I’m the one trying to save my house. Y’all refused to help and I went across the street to Lee Law Firm who was much more interested in helping me than lining their bank account. They filed it for the $500 I had knowing the situation I was in. So you did bad.

I had a scheduled appointment at 5. I arrived 10 mins ahead of initial appointment. One hour past, I had to ask was I forgotten. I was told to reschedule or wait another 30 mins. I scheduled this appointment 2 weeks ago. I left work early to accommodate this appointment. What upsets me is that the level of respect that has been given for my time.
There's never been a problem texting me to call the office, so why didnt a text warrant the attorney was running late? This is not good business practice. Period. Up until today my experience had been good. It's now almost 6:45 and I'm still waiting. This is rude and disrespectful to have an attitude of uncaring, or not caring that the next appointee is in the office waiting and was on time. Not sure how this will all pan out because of the long tedious wait. Oh and by the way, I'm a new client.

Allmand law firm has been a blessing to me and my family.. The lawyers, the staff, (secretaries), paralegals are very professional and they work hard to take of you as a client.. You are their top priority because every client they want to see us succeed and come out of the dark financial cloud that we are in when we come to them for bankruptcy help...Depending on what type of bankruptcy you qualify for and your financial situation, initial fee to start their services is very reasonable and the monthly fee to complete your bankruptcy is realistic so that you succeed in bankruptcy, it doesn’t break the bank.. Which I am glad for because after my divorce ( an pile of financial debt that came after the divorce), I don’t think I ever thought that I could get my debt back on track but Allmand law made it reality... I appreciate them and I am very thankful for all their hard work... And I will keep singing their prayers to all who will listen...God bless..

I went in with high hopes because of all the great reviews I'd read. I paid to start my case the same day I went in for the consultant. Stacey was great. Very informative and understanding. The office staff was nothing short of professional. I felt as though a weight had been lifted off my shoulders knowing that I had a financial plan (to move forward) the following week I went back to finalize everything with the attorney and was told my case "should be filed" that next week (which would have been 2-4-19....today is the 27th and my case hasn't been filed....although the women at the front desk or very nice nobody can give me much information as to why the case hasn't been filed yet. This is disappointing. As of right now I would not recommend the firm to someone seeking to file.
