My husband & I just went through the Bankruptcy process. Attorney Malone held out hand throughout the process. If I had a question all I had to do is pick up the phone and if he was not available he definitely call me back. He let us know what to expect and now we have are finish with the bankruptcy. He is a good guy. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to do bankruptcy. One more thing it helped so much that we did not have to come up with the money all at once. I have paid him off :). He is now helping us getting our credit back in good standings.

Initial contact with Mr. Malone was very positive and the initial paperwork before filing was pleasant.

However, on the morning of my 341 meeting with the Trustee, Mr. Malone was a no show! The Trustee was not amused and allowed me to go to my vehicle to call my attorney but Mr. Malone did not answer the phone. After returning to the now empty hearing room, the Trustee was not happy with the situation and stated "you obviously picked the wrong attorney"!

He allowed me to proceed without my attorney present at my own peril. No pressure!

The trustee’s job is to have you verify under oath that all of the information my disclosed is correct and ask me questions regarding any discrepancies, errors, or items that don’t comply with applicable bankruptcy laws..... all without my hired attorney present.

This meeting of creditors should have been a short and simple hearing but the absence of my own attorney made it the most terrifying moment of my life..... All alone with the Trustee.....my hired attorney not there to assist me with the Trustee's questions... since on your bankruptcy petition, even the hint that you are concealing assets or otherwise committing bankruptcy fraud can lead to denial of your discharge and criminal prosecution.

Mr. Malone apologized when I finally talked to him on the phone.

Of course, he kept the full fee anyway.

Attorney Al Malone was able to assist us in getting approval of a Chapter 7, where we otherwise would not have qualified due to our income exceeding the threshold for Chapter 7. He did the research and was able to work with us in preparing the information we needed in order to meet the requirements. He is very informative and professional.
