Frank is BY FAR the laziest, incompetent,  and unaccountable person I've ever met.  We started off on a positive note on him sounding positive, but every time we got to court the tone changed. What made me write this review, is the last time we went to court. We put the whole case together. We had to ( September 2019)  frank only met with us an hr and a half before the trial.  We had evidence, messages, doctor notes,  etc.  I told Frank. go in and tackle issue A.  He ignores me  . What do THEY do, tackle issue A.  I tell him, add the evidence. He ignores that, we talk to our other lawyer (different county ) she says that could have been used and purged the opposing counsel. So did 3 other lawyers.  He would forget things we had for evidence, wouldnt share correct details, start stumbling over his words and wouldnt take accountability for doing wrong. Just embarrassing,  the opposing side all laughed at him. Can you imagine the side you're taking to court is laughing at you because if your lawyer. He would later ask for payment for his "unfocused time".
I told him specifically what to go in court and start off with, our daughter was in the hospital 10 days and plenty other times with her bio mom. Our other lawyer (different county) explained what could have been done since bio mom purged herself and Frank had no idea. He sounds real confident in the office in his Hawaiian shirt and shorts,  but steps into the courtroom and will literally change it up.
3. We learnedvalot with Frank,  even how to do our own motion. We put the case together for him and he still messed up in court. He even changed our motion twice telling us that's the way he usually does it. Well, that way is wrong  Frank. Finally, this week Frank asked to recuse himself for not being paid.  We've paid you close to 10k and nothing but a motion bio mom wants to talk about medical bills,  the same bills I told him to argue because theres no reason mom should have neglected the child from a dr before having to be admitted. Frank said. Pay me more money so we can do something about this. Mind you, at this time. .. I was paying Frank since my husband was paying back loans for Frank. I dont expect anyone to work for free. It is expected that you do WORK for us the way WE want you to. Since were paying  you. He recused himself this week. Saying he cant work for free. He never did. We would receive It's better this way, representing yourself is better than having Frank. Wait for the story about the aunt who gets her kids taken , I think that's his winning story. Hes not a big deal in court, ask the other lawyers around before you go.

I am not a client of Mr. Skipper's, I am a fellow attorney that was unfortunately mentioned by the prior reviewer. We did share a client and I did have extensive interactions with the client and his spouse, which wrote the review above. It is unfortunate that anyone can write that type of slander against a professional's reputation unchecked. I have personal knowledge that statements in that review are untrue. Also, please note, I was not requested to write this response, I learned of the review from a 3rd party source and while I understand his inclination not to respond, felt he should be defended.
