Old school lawyers. Best law firm hands down. Our clinic has used their services several times, in addition to other firms. We will no longer use any other law firm other than Burt Barr and Associates! They were able to accomplish all our needs much quicker for less money. They could have charged us more money and we would have paid no questions asked as the quality of their work warranted a higher price tag but they have too much integrity to pad a bill and only billed us for the hours they worked. If you want to save money and get results go with these guys.

(Full disclosure: I worked closely with John Barr and Forest Nelson for 5 years in a contract capacity. I haven't worked for them since early 2012.) Personally, I can vouch for the honest and moral nature of Mr. Barr and Mr. Nelson. Speaking with Mr. John Barr about some of the people he represented, he spoke with compassion and a obligation to represent his clients in the best way possible.
A short story about Mr. Barr's compassionate nature. There was a young woman who was working in the administration part of the office. She quit suddenly after having a few emotional outburst. There were rumors of drug addiction but I cannot confirm that. After she quit, Mr. Barr called her and offered to get her help if she needed it. He wanted to pay for the rehabilitation should she decided she needed it. The point is, he always had the best interest at heart of employees and clients alike and truly cared about the outcome.
I cannot speak to the previous reviewer experience but assure you the firm I knew had no ill intentions of fraudulent personal gain over the clients personal outcome. Burt Barr and Associates is a top notch firm and you would be lucky to have John Barr or Forest Nelson in your corner.
